Course Description
The participants will perform aesthetic surgery techniques as described in topics.
80% of the course are hands-on with 20% lectures about explanations of the techniques and
live or video taped dissection/operation (displayed on screen), all step by step. A maximum of
two participants will be assigned to a fresh and not embalmed cadaver skull a „close to reality“ simulation of the surgical procedures.
Bryant A. Toth

Bryant A.Toth, M.D. is an internationally renowned and respected cosmetic
surgeon who is in private practice in San Francisco, California. He has an
undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and obtained his medical
degree from Brown University’s Program in Medicine. His surgical training
was at Massachusetts General Hospital and he was the first to be awarded
the Kazanjian Fellowship from Harvard University that enabled him to pursue
a craniofacial surgical fellowship with Dr. Daniel Marchac in Paris.
Dr.Toth is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of California,
San Francisco, an Adjunct Associate Professor of Dentistry at the University
of the Pacific and the Co-Director of the Craniofacial Department at UCSF
Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. In addition to surgery, Dr.Toth has
contributed to plastic surgery with the publication of over 70 peer reviewed
journal articles, 26 book chapters, 7 instructional videos and he is the
co-editor of three textbooks on plastic surgery.
For the past 30 years Dr.Toth has demonstrated new techniques in cosmetic
surgery through live surgery, lectures, instructional courses and visiting
professorships all over the world.
