Latraim Machinery, Inc. began in 1949 with J.M.’s
introduction of the world’s first automatic shrimp
peeler. The company’s product line now includes
equipment for shrimp processing, shellfish cooking

components for the Laitram divisions and select
outside customers. Innovative design software,
rigorous quality assurance programs and advanced
