Flexible Hose Installation Procedure
Hint: make sure the vehicle is supported under the lower control arms so that the front

1. Remove the front skid plate/air dam from underneath the car. Several push fasteners
and bolts hold it in place.

3. Attach one end of the flexible hose to the cooling duct using the provided hose
clamp.
4. Route the hose up and over the drive shaft as seen in Picture #2 & #3. Use the
provided cable ties to hang it from nearby brackets as pictured.

used to cover the opening. Other companies manufacture screen type covers for this
application if you do not wish to cut your cover please look into purchasing a cover
with a mesh type screen as seen in Picture #9.
9. Repeat the process for the other side.
10. Re-install lower air dam/skid plate.
11. Install the wheels and check all clearances, turning the wheel lock to lock, make sure
the hose does not rub excessively.
12. Lower the car and torque the lug nuts to the manufacturer’s specifications.
13. Drive the car to check fit and function.
Note: If the hose shows signs of excessive rubbing or wear, adjust as required.
