PepGen P-15 & PepGen P-15 FLOW
The Science Of P-15 Peptide
The Predictable Choice
• Tissue-engineered bone replacement graft material.
• Mimics the inorganic and organic components of
autogenous bone.
• Includes the specially designed P-15 peptide, a
synthetic biomimetic of the 15 amino acid sequence
of Type-I collagen, which is uniquely involved in
the binding of cells, particularly fibroblasts and
osteoblasts.1
• Easy to place using conventional bone grafting
techniques.
• PepGen P-15 particulate is available in the preferred
particle size range: PepGen P-15 particulate (250420 microns) packaged in 1-gram and 3-gram vials.
• PepGen P-15 FLOW: PepGen P-15 particulate
suspended in inert biocompatible hydrogel packaged
in 0.5 cc and 1.0 cc syringes.
• First and only biomimetic of
autogenous bone.
• Provides superior defect fill.
• Minimizes crestal bone loss.

DBX® Putty Demineralized Bone Matrix (Allograft)
DBX Demineralized Bone Matrix, which has been primarily available in the orthopedic market,
is now available in a putty form, exclusively through DENTSPLY Tulsa Dental Specialties. DBX offers
the highest bone content, optimal osteoinductivity and exceptional handling characteristics when
compared to other DBM products.
Musculoskeletal Transplant
Foundation (MTF)
A non-profit service organization, the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation
is the world’s largest tissue bank accredited by the American Association of
Tissue Banks. MTF was started in 1987 by surgeons who understood the critical
requirements of a world-class tissue bank: maintain the highest ethical standards
when approaching families of potential donors; ensure the strictest sterility
standards during tissue recovery, processing and storage; and establish complete
traceability to enhance safety for recipients. Although all allograft tissue will
be ordered through DENTSPLY Tulsa Dental Specialties, it will be shipped and
invoiced by MTF to adhere to the standards of the AATB and NOTA (National
Organ Transplant Act).
Quality And Safety Assurance
• Every potential donor must pass a thorough quality assurance process.
• MTF is the only tissue bank to use registered nurses to screen potential donors.
• MTF’s standards are established by a medical board of surgeons.
• MTF uses Nucleic Acid Testing on every donor. Comprehensive testing is done
for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV-1/2 Antibody, HTLV-I/II Antibody and Syphilis.
• All MTF tissue undergoes 27 separate quality assurance checks that meet or
exceed AATB guidelines.
• Only donors from the United States are accepted.
Sterility Control Measures
• Allograft tissue is supplied to MTF according to the AATB standards.
• Tissue is aseptically processed in Class 10 (certified) clean rooms.
• Each donor is processed individually and tracked.
• Processes are validated to prevent cross contamination.
• Sterility is verified to release.
DBX Demineralized
Bone Matrix
DBX Putty
Cortical Powder
High-quality And Biocompatible
Easy To Use
• Contains the highest demineralized bone content
available – 93% by volume.
• DBX sodium hyaluronate carrier is a safe and natural
substance found in the joints and ocular fluids of the
human body.
• Non-Hemolytic – compatible with surrounding blood cells.
• pH Balanced – identical pH to human blood, 7.2.
• High molecular weight means the
material maintains its physical
integrity and resists movement
under irrigation.
• Ready to use out of the box,
no preparation required.
• Excellent handling characteristics.
• Two-year shelf life.
• Convenient, room-temperature
storage.
Proven Bone Formation
Through Optimal Osteoinductivity
• DBX material has been proven to be osteoinductive and to
facilitate true bone growth via a batch osteoinductive
assay on every lot.
• An athymic mouse study, based on the Urist intramuscular
model, confirmed histologically that DBX material is
osteoinductive and facilitates true bone growth.2
Mineralized Cancellous Powder
Mineralized Cancellous Powder from Tulsa Dental Specialties
and MTF integrates with natural bone for predictable
outcomes. It is easy to handle and hydrate, and offers
a three-year shelf life with convenient, room-temperature
storage. And because it comes from the world’s leading
tissue bank, you can use this cancellous particulate product
with confidence.
