Paolo Russo, (age 44) musician and composer, plays the piano and the bandoneón.
Born in Pescara, Italy 1969, based in Denmark since 1996. Graduated as classical pianist in Italy
(Conservatorio L. D’Annunzio – July 1993). Graduated as rhythmic pianist in Denmark (Rytmisk
Musikkonservatorium, soloist line – June 2002). He studied architecture for 5 years in Italy (Università
degli studi di Chieti G. D’Annunzio – 1987/1992). He started to play the bandoneón in 2001 and since 2004 has been to
Argentina every year to study, perform and record with different bands. He has played professionally all over Europe,
Greenland, Færøer, Japan, Thailand, Tanzania, Algeria, Mozambique, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. He has also studied music
in New York with Richie Beirach and in Buenos Aires with Néstor Marconi.
