Impressive is certainly part of John’s design aesthetic and his
design caught the eye of the judging panel for the prestigious
De Beers International Design Award which was presented
at the Louvre Museum in Paris. John’s winning presentation of
‘Virtual Eros’ a $500,000 futuristic full diamond face mask
featured nearly 44 carats of scintillatingly brilliant diamonds.
Calleija is honoured to be associated with Aston Martin for
this exclusive collection to celebrate the curves and design
of the iconic automobiles. Each Calleija for Aston Martin
limited edition piece has been created for today’s jewellery
connoisseur and represents Calleija’s supreme dedication to
the highest standards of craftsmanship and design.

ETHICAL DIAMONDS & SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES
We are passionate about creating exquisite bespoke jewellery
that follows our formal commitment to ethical and sustainable
production and manufacturing. Our company is known for its
stance on sustainability and we will only work with long term
suppliers who uphold the brand’s formal dedication to a vigilant
code of practice as a responsible jeweller.
Calleija only works with specifically certified diamond suppliers
who subscribe to the highest ethical standards and the Kimberley
Process Certification Scheme (KPCS). These partners are regularly
audited to ensure these strict criteria are maintained. We are also
very proud of the fact that we are also able to trace to the very
mine itself, the origin of the rare Argyle pink and blue diamonds
which feature significantly in our creations.
As we have our own workshops which use traditional methods of
jewellery craftsmanship, we are able to control the manufacturing
process and our customers are assured that our pieces are created
under excellent working conditions. With regards to precious
metals, Calleija have signed as members of the ‘No Dirty Gold
Campaign’ which will formalise the principles by which we have
operated with since our conception.
Calleija are also proud to support The Green Carpet Challenge
as represented at the BAFTA Awards, The Oscars and the Cannes
Film Festival.
THE CALLEIJA ASTAR CUT
Calleija’s exclusive association with Aston Martin has inspired
a breathtaking collection of limited edition jewellery. This
association compelled John to create a brand new cut of
gemstone entitled ASTAR based on the iconic front grille of the
Aston Martin. This unique gemstone cut features throughout the
collection; each one hand crafted and as special and unique as
the cars themselves.
Every single piece can be custom designed to your specifications
including gem stone choice, metal selection and complementing
diamonds.
Calleija, based in Australia, are dedicated to creating beautiful
and elegant designs from a wide array of colourful and brilliant
gemstones.
Calleija are also the select Atelier for Rio Tinto’s Argyle Pink
Diamond mine where 90% of the world’s pink diamonds are
unearthed. These extremely rare and luxurious pink diamonds are
perfectly showcased in the splendour of John Calleija’s designs.
