Agro-Star provides technical consultancy on the selection of food
processing lines, particularly freezing tunnels of various types and by
various manufacturers. Another area of activity is the disassembly, relocation and reassembly of production lines in food plants worldwide.
In 2006 the company started cooperation with two manufacturers of
cold room doors, namely EMS (Germany) and Isocab (Belgium), and
since then Agro-Star has been servicing the products of both these
companies.
The core business of Agrovis is provision of supplies for food industry, especially dairy sector. Agrovis provides dairies with additives
by the renowned company CH Hansen which are necessary for the
production of cheese, curd cheese, butter, yogurt and other dairy

Cukiernia Zaniewicz is a family run confectionary business set up in 1993. For over
20 years the company has been specializing in the production of traditional sękacz
cake and other regional cakes as well as elegant layer cakes. Additionally, in 2005
Zaniewicz started making bio-cakes. The company exhibits its products at international
confectionery fairs and local festivals promoting Polish culture and cuisine. It was one
of the founders of the Polish Chamber of Regional and Local Product and is an active
member of national ecological associations. It searches for old Polish recipes for cakes
so as to contribute to the revival of Polish culinary traditions based on high-quality natural products. An example is Zaniewicz’s sękacz cake made from fresh eggs, genuine
butter, top-quality flour, sugar and lemon. Sękacz (literally ‚a knotty fir tree’) makes a
delicious dessert after a festive meal, an excellent wedding or Christmas present, or a
sweet souvenir from Poland. It is sold wrapped in an elegant and functional packaging
with descriptions in Polish, English and German. However, making sękacz cake is not
an easy job: it requires an artistic approach and a lot of patience. The baking process
consists in pouring subsequent layers of dough on a wooden roller rotating over open
fire. The rotary movement of the roller makes the dough drip and form the characteristic
fir-like shape. The taste and flavour of the cake are reminiscent of the place it originates
