you all!!
Well the last news letter for
theto year….hoping
it finds you and yours all well. I guess you
will be much the same as everyone at this time of the year, very busy and deserving of
some time of over xmas to spend with the family (or giving your race car some tender
loving care required for the up coming season)
What ever it is you find yourselves doing I hope for you it is fun, safe and memorable!!

WORKING BEE DUTY
As in our Club Rule Book, Members are required to complete a Working Bee
or offer to assist in some way each year amounting to a half day of duty.Those
who choose not to do this may pay a fee of $50.00.
This year we have noted the 2012/2013 fee on your Membership Renewal Invoice. In order to have the fee removed from your balance you need to get your
invoice signed from a Committee member upon the completion of your
Duty/Working Bee Or your Name Recorded in the Duty Book and Signed by a
Committee Member.
Please Remember this is what the Committee have been instructed to enforce
at AGM. They have not made this rule.They are only doing their job by enforcing it!!
If you have not paid the $50.00 or completed a duty from the 2011/2012 season
you will NOT be permitted to race until this has been sorted.

MEMBERSHIP FEES
PLEASE PAY FEES BEFORE RACE DAY!!!!!
It would help us hugely if memberships were paid before the first race meeting.
Also those who are paid before the end of November will get their name in the
Summer Programme. Pay online—the details are on the invoice.
Our first race meeting is a long day already, so not having to pay membership in the morning will speed things up with signing in for racing.
If you need another copy of your invoice or our bank details (use name and car number as
reference) please do not hesitate to give Nicky a call (Contact number page 6)
WAIHEKE ISLAND TRIP JANUARY 26,27,28th 2013
WE HAVE THE FENDER BENDER HUBCAP AND SALOON TROPHY CHALLENGE
AND WE WANT TO BRING THEM HOME!!
Bookings have closed to travel with the club. However we would love to see as many people as possible
visiting us in support. Owen and Dave will both be there. Give them a call if you need picking up from the
passenger ferry terminal.
HAMPTON DOWNS
I am sure those who made it will agree we had a fantastic afternoon!!
All went very smoothly and the weather was perfect, finished off with a good old fry up
on the BBQ! A big Thank you to Kempy and Donalee Grimminck
for hosting us.
If there is interest we could look at organising another event at the track later in the
season.
Please let a committee member know any feedback for when it is up for discussion
again.

PASSENGERS
A reminder to those wanting to ride as a passenger.
This applies to both forest and track.
If you are under 18 yrs old, your parent must sign
their consent on the sign up sheet.
You must also sign the passenger sign up sheet even if you are signed up to
be a driver.
You must also change and initial the sign up sheet if you passenger in a different car to which you first signed up for.
PHEW!! Got it?? Great. We don't like turning people away as we are not
fun police. Just like to keep you all as safe as possible ;-)

1991 Toyota corolla FXGT, 1600cc race car.
I bought it as a Production Saloon being raced at Wellington (apparently it help the lap speed record there for a while!)
I have not raced it since I bought it so still in class spec. Log book and green sheets available.
It is almost ready to race and comes with numerous spare; full set of suspension, drive shafts, gearbox, welded diff and heaps
of tyres(some cut and some rally tyres)
Includes purpose built trailer that is WOF’ed and Rego’ed.
Pretty ready to go, just need seat belts! Bargain at $2350.00 for car and trailer package.

CLASS SPECIFICATIONS
There has been indication that some have made modifications to their cars which do
not meet the class regulations. We will not be tolerating this in any way and the committee have advised the Scrutineers to ensure all rules are strictly meet when it comes
to this issue. If you have any queries, particularly regarding engine modifications or
Fender Bender bars please get in touch.
Please attend a pre scrutineering day, as advertised and/or Drivers Meeting to ensure
your car meets the class regulations. We aim to make it as fair as possible for all drivers
in a race.
We don't want to use the word “cheater” but hey, if the shoe fits....wear it!!
Consider this your first and final warning!!
