Artist Profile: Karine Bouchard
Karine Bouchard’s passion for cremation urns was
sparked by a special request. Eager to create an
urn for two friends who had lost a child, Karine
combined her love for ancient glass-blowing with
her deep desire for providing a unique memorial
fitting of a precious life lost too young. Karine has
a sixth sense — a rare genius — for the strengths
and limitations of color, lighting and shape. Her
designs are poetic in tone, with each glass piece
as unique as the person it commemorates.
Karine’s stellar talent and warm humanitarian
spirit have been blended into the formation of
Verre Minuit, Inc., resulting in her magnificent
pieces of art created as memorial urns in the
Karine Bouchard Series.
