Kharafi National
Expansion
into New
Markets
Kharafi National is looking to export its capabilities to areas of great potential mainly developing countries in Africa and the Middle
East where it KN has a competitive advantages.
North Africa
Following the Arab Spring where there have been tremendous changes, we expect positive developments in terms of local and
international investments in the private and public sector for PPP and BOT schemes to finance Consumer Infrastructure. Egypt,
where Kharafi National is already established, serves as the company’s center for procurement and engineering and as a base to
pursue and deliver projects in Africa. Kharafi National’s track record provides KN with a unique and strong position to deliver the
infrastructure requirements in other post revolution countries in North Africa such as Libya and Tunisia.
Sub Saharan Africa
Kharafi National is exploring the opportunities to establish itself in the Sub Saharan region of Africa and work with local companies
and governments to develop infrastructure projects including power and water. With the growing population in the Sub Saharan
continent and increasing requirement to provide developed social and consumer infrastructure, Kharafi National has already taken
its first step by establishing a base office in the Republic of South Sudan.
KN continues to expand its developments and operations
in new and potentially emerging markets. With an
experience in PPP schemes, and a strong and extensively
resourceful business development team, KN becomes
the ideal partner to provide the ideal infrastructure
solutions throughout the developing markets.
In the next decade the newly proclaimed state of South Sudan will require unprecedented development in all sectors providing
opportunities for investments that will allow the landlocked country to head towards being self sufficient and free from the current
economic dependence on neighboring countries.
Kharafi National aims at developing social infrastructure projects to meet the local community requirements mainly on PPP
basis. With the company’s capabilities and skills, Kharafi National is aiming to take further steps and develop various community
services, training and developmental centers within the scope of the projects to provide not only the project but to couple this with
a development strategy that will facilitate knowledge transfer to local communities and employment opportunities.
To meet this goal in the Sub Saharan region, Kharafi National’s newly established office in Juba will service Eastern Africa. KN is
currently evaluating the establishment of a similar facility in Angola to support Angola’s infrastructure requirement and meet the
needs of neighboring West African nations.
New Markets
KN is starting to export its services to niche markets by leveraging an agile structure and strong EPC and O&M CV of experience.
As a company, Kharafi National is targeting developing countries that have unexploited natural resources and that have great
requirements to develop their social and industrial infrastructures. These requirements are aligned with KN’s capability to provide
these markets with the above in record time.
