“Too good to be true!” raves the New York Post for Jersey
Boys, the 2006 Tony® Award-winning Best Musical about
Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Four Seasons—Frankie
Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, and Nick Massi. This
is the story of how four blue-collar kids became one of the
greatest successes in pop music history. They wrote their
own songs, invented their own sounds, and sold 175 million
records worldwide—all before they were 30! The premiere
engagement of Jersey Boys in Columbus was an overwhelming
success, seen by more than 52,000 theatergoers, and
the Columbus Dispatch proclaimed, “The theatre fills with
applause, laughter and more than a few tears.” Jersey Boys
worldwide has been seen by over 16 million people (as of
September, 2012).

tango fire
Columbus native Aaron Diehl is the
2011 Cole Porter Fellow in Jazz of the
American Pianists Association. Hailed
by The New York Times as a “revelation”
and the Chicago Tribune as “the most promising discovery
that [Wynton] Marsalis has made since Eric Reed,” Diehl’s
distinctive interpretations of the music of Scott Joplin, Jelly
Roll Morton, Art Tatum, Duke Ellington, and other masters
pays homage to the tradition while establishing his own
original voice.
The passionate music and fiery dance of the tango have
undergone a renaissance in recent years, a testament to its
ability to capture the imagination of lovers of music and
dance around the world. The Tango Fire Company of Buenos
Aires brings this smoldering art form to the stage with an
all-new production featuring 12 spectacular dancers
and a quartet of brilliant musicians, tracing the
history of the art form from its origin on the
streets of Buenos Aires through its
evolution into contemporary
ballroom styles.
