The success of any event is built upon the setting in which takes place:
the venue. Perhaps more than any other element of event planning, your
selection of a venue, shapes, defines and determines the experience that
will unfold.
Located in the heart of Montreal’s vibrant international district, and just
a stone’s throw away from the award-winning landmark: le Palais des
Congrès, Galerie MX is one of the most unique commercial art gallery
spaces in Quebec. A distinct contemporary architectural space that
welcomes guests into its street level Viger avenue entrance to a natural lightfilled, dramatic interior that contains two levels of chic, sophisticated, and
modern space. By hosting your event here, you infuse both the occasion
and your guests with the abundance of creative energy emanating from the
art. In turn, this energy amplifies the coming together of people into a true
celebration and elevates the event into a rich and sensuous experience.
meet your demands
How do I schedule an event? It’s easy. Call 514.690.9153 or email
[email protected] and provide us with some basic information
about your event (number of people, date, type of event). Our event’s
coordinator will contact you to schedule an on-site meeting.
How much notice is required for a reservation? Depending on the
event, one week’s notice is all that is needed. We take reservations
up to a year in advance. We can only guarantee a reservation once
you have completed our rental agreement.
Do I need to make a down payment to reserve the space? Yes,
to ensure our scheduling commitments we require a deposit and a
dully signed rental agreement. The gallery accepts corporate and
personal checks, as well as major credit cards.
What equipment is available? Galerie MX is to be used for holding
and heating of off site prepared foods. The following is available for
use during rental times only : one door refrigerator unit with freezer,
dishwasher, microwave, one compartment sink, one table - 8 feet,
5 disc CD player, surround speakers system on both floors, satellite
radio, projector and screen, fully equiped coat check that holds up
to 300 coats, 3 fireplaces.
What times are available? We are flexible in accommodating events
everyday of the week including weekends.
