Allosaurus
Editor :
A carnivorous dinosaur typical of the Jurassic period, Allosaurus inhabited a broad geographical range, including North
America and Europe. Ranging up to roughly 9 - 12 meters in length, Allosaurus is believed to have used its large, powerful
upper jaws and three sharp claws on each of its front feet as weapons to bring down prey. In motion, the Allosaurus used its
long, hard tail as a precise counterbalance for its large, ungainly head. The lumps projecting from its head are yet another
of Allosaurus traits.
