About Make-A-Wish®
and the Golf Outing
Dear Friends:
On behalf of Make-A-Wish® Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia, I would like to invite you to
the Make-A-Wish Energy Golf Outing. For more
than 17 years, professionals from the energy industry have banded together to
help raise funds to make wishes come
true for children with life-threatening
medical conditions. Since 1996, this event has
raised more than $820,000 for the local chapter
and has helped to fund wishes and create magical
memories for nearly 220 kids.
This year, our chapter has grown to include the
entire state of West Virginia. With a larger service
area, the Outing Chairs have recognized a need
to increase their efforts for 2014. Our chapter has
just celebrated its 30th year of granting wishes
and we hope to grant 762 wishes this year. With
this in mind, we are asking you to consider joining other local energy companies by taking part
in the Spring Golf Outing on May 9, 2014,
at Cedarbrook Golf Course in Belle Vernon,
Pennsylvania.

The golf outing is a scramble format limited to 144
golfers per course. Team positions will be on a first
come, first served basis.
Each team must have an energy employee as one
of the players.
*Golf round checks must be made payable to
Cedarbrook Golf Course. The cost to play golf is
not tax deductible.
**Donation checks should be made payable to the
Make-A-Wish®. Sponsorship is tax deductible.

reservation. Sponsors will have priority -teams not sponsoring Make-A-Wish are not
guaranteed a spot.
**NOTE: Soft spikes are required on the golf
course.
