Your Gift of a Wheelchair is
CHANGING LIVES!
God is using you to change the hearts and lives
of people with disabilities all over the world.
Your prayers and support opened the doors to
a bright future for a young girl, Lorena, from
Cuba. Born with cerebral palsy, Lorena waited
12 years for a wheelchair. This young girl, full
of hopes and dreams, knows the daily pain and
struggles of living with disability. She understands the feelings of isolation and not feeling
part of her community. Lorena’s dream is to
become a nurse and help the people in her country who suffer physically.
Lorena and her mother came to our Wheels for
the World outreach, and that day, your faithful
partnership changed Lorena’s future forever.
They were shown love and care as our volunteer
Wheels team brought a wheelchair for Lorena.
Your gift of a wheelchair delivers much more
than mobility. It’s a tangible statement that
Lorena is valuable to God and that there is hope
for her future. “A wheelchair will take me more
places—it will help me go further in life,” Lorena
shared with us. A wheelchair gives “legs” to her
dreams. The wheelchair you provided for Lorena
restored her dignity and freedom.
Life-changing, hope-filled words of Scripture
were read to Lorena and her mother before
they left to make the journey back home.
The wheelchair and Bible you gave showed God’s
love to Lorena and her mother. Smiling from
ear to ear, Lorena is now full of hope for her
future. Thank you!
“Your love has given me great
joy and encouragement!”

FROM
the HEART
S
ome people call a million-dollar painting,
a Mercedes-Benz, or a dress with a $700
price tag an investment. But I say if you
can’t pack it into your luggage when you step
into the other side of eternity, don’t call it a
lasting treasure.
Now I’m not poking fun at your great-grandmother’s silver service that’s been handed down
over the years. I’m just asking for a little perspective. For if you had all the money in the world,
you could not purchase a single day – it’s a 24
hour gift from God that He wants you to invest.
So what should you do with this priceless possession? You invest in things that’ll last for eternity...
spend your time and treasure on behalf of others…
promote the Gospel, help the needy, and endow
efforts that build the Kingdom of Christ!
“MAKE THE MOST OF
EVERY OPPORTUNITY”
– Colossians 4:5
It’s exactly what you’re doing as you pray for and
give toward the ministry of Joni and Friends.
Together we are making the most of every opportunity to bring people with disabilities and their
families into the fold of Christ’s fellowship. One
day, paintings will peel and crack, and the resale
value on cars will be nil. But your patronage of
the Gospel through Joni and Friends will last
throughout eternity – and for that, I am so very
thankful to God!
Thank You
FOR YOUR FAITHFULNESS!
A LETTER FROM OUR EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND CFO
Dear Friends,
What a faithful God we serve
together! His promises to provide and care for the needs of His
people are accomplished through
your compassion for individuals
and families affected by disability.
Because of your prayers and support, together we can
reach into local neighborhoods and far away countries,
to share the Gospel with those who otherwise may never
have had the opportunity to hear it. Thousands are
finding salvation, hope and joy in Jesus Christ.
In 2015, your commitment to meet the needs of people
affected by disability resulted in another year of financial strength for Joni and Friends. We are grateful and
deeply humbled by your generosity and faithfulness as
together we fulfill Christ’s command to care for “the least
of these” in His name. The gifts you give are stewarded
with prayer and handled with the utmost integrity. This
past year, 85 cents of every dollar funded our ministry
programs. We kept diligent control of overhead and
fundraising expenses, limiting them to 6 and 9 cents
per dollar, respectively.*
These audited results of our finances are a clear
reflection of your continued prayer and commitment to
ministry. The Lord has most certainly shown his tender
mercies and enduring love to the entire world—through
you! As we continue in ministry together, may God’s abundant goodness and favor pour out upon you in every way.

For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have
worked for Him and how you have shown your love to Him
by caring for other believers, as you still do.
