Turkissa. Tuotteiden vientitoimintaa meillä on 40:neen maahan. Organisaatioon kuuluu omat tuotantolaitokset ja
logistiikkapalvelut Turkissa
Markkinointiosastomme hoitaa sisämarkkinointia sekä vientikauppaa johon myös kuuluu laaja
jälleenmyyjäverkosto ja franchise- ketjumyymälöitä Turkissa ja ulkomailla. Myymälöitä on tällä hetkellä

As being the largest olive oil exporter in Turkey, we would like to introduce
ourselves to you..
Taris is the first and largest Union of Agricultural Producers and Sales
Cooperatives in Turkey. 28.000 producers and 33 factories , offer olive oil with the
highest standards. The union was established to strengthen and improve Turkey’s
Olive and Olive Oil culture and production standards.
Taris Olive is the only Turkish company participating in the Quality Program of
IOOC (since 2002) and is one of only 33 laboratories accepted by the IOOC. It
produces and exports all types of olive oils at a different private label with a higher
quality.
Tariş serves all regions of Turkey and exports all around the world with the
assurance of TS-EN-ISO-9002 Quality System Certificate. With its modern
refinery facilities, Taris Olive Oil and Olive Oil Union has a daily capacity of 250
tons.

8. Production:
A. Definition of production operation:
The Process of Natural Olive-oil Production-Storage- Packing Process: This is the
process of filtration, control, packing and storage of the natural olive-oil which is controlled
through the Quality Control Process and which is conveniently assured through the buying
process.
Refined Olive-oil Production-Control-Storage-Packing Process: This is the process
of the production of refined olive-oil, the process control, the storage and the packing of the
refined olive-oil.
Pure Olive-oil Production-Control-Stocking-Packing Process: This is the process of
production, control, storage and packing of the Pure olive-oil which is formed by refined
olive-oil with final quality control and natural olive-oil.
B. Beginning, packing of raw materials, refined products, quarantine, and control of
preparation and storage of products: Operation through the process of Storage Conservation.
C. Process of retraction of rejected products: Despite the control made on every phases
of traceability process, storage of products, production and transportation, the inconvenient
products determined after the transports are retracted.
D. Taking and controlling a sample while process is continuing: Sample is taken and is
made a process control during the production.
F. Reprocess: Inconvenient product control process is practiced for inconvenient
products. If it is necessary it can be repeated.

ORGANIC OLIVE OIL
Climate:
Mediterrenean Climate. In the winter it is mild and moisty but not rainy. During the
summer it is very hot and dry. The temperature range is between 0oC and 35oC.
Region:
Taris Organic Olive Oil Project has been carried out in 5 regions, Ahmetce,
Nusraalti,Arikli, Kozlu , Behram of Küçükkuyu, Canakkale which is located on the
Aegean Cost (nortwest part of Turkey)
Season and
Method of
Collecting
Olives:
The season of collecting olives is between November to February and the most
common method is collecting by hand.Olive trees have periodicity and they are
fruitfull for one year and fruitless for next year (We call this, “on” or “off” years.)
The olive oil yield of the olive trees in the regions are ¼ or 1/5 in general. Namely
200-250gr oil can be obtained from 1kg olives.

50-80 years old trees.
Quality Normes:
ISO 9001,2000 versionand HACCP procedures applied in Izmir factory. Control
and certification of the farming project and processing unt has been done by
ECOCERT.
Organism of
Reglementation:
Olive oil processing has been done at Kucukkuyu cooperative factory for long
years and there is technical staff at the factory. The organic olive oil processing
has begun in 2000 and no negativity has been determined at the factory controls.
