Tan Sri Dr Karnail Singh Nijhar (K S Nijhar) recently launched his book, The
Bullock Cart Boy, chronicling his hardships when he was young prior to
Malaysia achieving national independence in 1957. The venue for this
momentous event was held at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur, befitting of its
stature as a YTL Classic Hotel where nostalgic moments are in abundance over
the past few decades.
K S Nijhar has led a colourful life with much knowledge to impart with the
people around him. From serving as the Vice-President of the Malaysian Indian
Congress (2000 – 2008) to a Group General Manager for a corporate company
back in 1975, K S Nijhar proved that “there is always something to be gained
from the hard-earned experience of others.”
