LONG-TERM ACUTE CARE (LTAC)
CORE SPECIALTY PROGRAMS
Long-term Acute Care (LTAC) is
recommended for those who require
complex medical management and
therapeutic care -- 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week, with daily assessment of the
patient by a physician.

Rehabilitation
PERSONS REQUIRING LONG-TERM ACUTE
CARE ARE GENERALLY:
Renal Dialysis
Wound Vac
Infectious Diseases
Multiple Intravenous Therapies
Multi-System Organ Failure
Post – OP Complications
TPN and other Nutritional Interventions
Catastrophic Injuries
Pain Management
On-Site Pharmacy
Bariatric
Admitted directly from the ICU
Medically and physically compromised with
multi-system complications and/or failures
that require hospitalization.
In need of extended acute care (average 25
days or more), but have the potential for
recovery and may then transition home or to
the next level of care.
