Overall assessment
The candidate is an excellent choice for the MBA program. 1 am absolutely sure that
he will benefit and contribute from and to the program as expected at INSEAD. He
has an successful academic background (in one of the prestigious institutions rn
Israel) and a professional career that shows constant progress and success.
He has good interpersonal skills and the needed motivation.
1 am not sure he is a natural charismatic leader and hence not really the entrepreneur
type of person but he has proved his success in managing people and achieving goals.
Definite admit.
Personality
The candidate ‫י‬s personality is a very positive one. He has good verbal skills, both in
English and Hebrew, and he is able to present his points in a clear and solid way .
He definitely has a good potential for teamwork and has been exercising that
throughout his career. Moreover, he has been in a position to manage people and is
aware ofthe meaning ofleading and motivating groups ofpeople .
Overall ‫ י‬he comes across very confident and at the same time - very humble .
Achievement
In tenns of his career the candidate had a successful & bright career until now. He has
worked for his cu‫ח‬ent employer for quiet a long period and has managed to get
promoted from a very technical position in the R&D side to a people - oriented
position as director of marketing reporting to the CEO .

Clearly the academic background of the candidate is impressing and hence his success
in the high tech industry. I think he has leveraged his academic background which is
very technical, into a career that involves also non-technicaI aspects and that shows
his ability to develop new sets of skills.
Motivation
‫ ז‬e candidate feeIs that his career is in a phase that the INSEAD MBA would be of
huge impact; he wishes to acquire a more business oriented set of skills to compliment
his technical background . ‫ ז‬e candidate showed high motivation towards the
INSEAD MBA and I believe he will be contributing the necessary efforts to his
fellow students and teammates .
The candidate is aware of the economic climate and its consequences, especially in
terms of the job market. Nevertheless, he is still confident that an MBA is needed to
progress his career .
Career analysis
The candidate is aiming for continuing his career within the high tech industry. He is
considering checking possible opportunities within that industry such as venture
capital groups specializing in high tech or IT consulting. He a]so considers going back
into his former employee for a VP kind of job.
The candidate showed some interest in setting up his own start up in the future.
I think he is very realistic about his possibilities and he has a lot of advantages in
those specific industries that might help him stand out between other candidates.
Employment
I would defmitely employ him! He is bright, down to earth guy with a rich proven
experience in the hardware and software aspects of IT industry. He had been in a

I think he is suitable for all R&D management positions and some marketing
positions. After INSEAD he might also be ready to serve in BD roles within high tech
companies.
