To My Fellow Riders,
Let me welcome you to the finest riding in the State
of Arkansas & the Ozarks! Any rider who has experienced Eureka Springs will tell you straight-up that
we have the best roads, best food, best accommodations and best people in the area. Motorcyclists visit
from all over to experience our laid-back atmosphere
and the exhilaration of riding on roads where you
can sometimes read your own license plate.
Every rider has their own style of riding from easy
going to hard and fast, and our hills and turns offer variety to each and every one. You can ride the
Highway 23 South “Pig Trail” and find yourself turning on curves that bring you close to scraping the
bike as you lean. Some test their nerves by riding
the mountains edge and being able to look far down
into the valley below, many however find themselves
not that daring. Treasures and area attractions can
be found along your daily rides, you might even find
yourself traveling the wooden surface of the Beaver
Town swinging bridge as you cross the White River
flowing slowly underneath the boards!
Once back from your morning ride you can continue
to experience Eureka’s wonders in other ways. Catch
a trolley to explore our historic downtown shopping
district offering a variety of art galleries, gift shops,
spas, stores, historic structures and fantastic dining
establishments for lunch and dinner.
So, now that you’re hooked on riding the Ozarks
and have had the Eureka Springs experience, we look
forward to seeing you and your riding friends on a
return trip. Every ride it just gets better!
Ride easy,

Mayor,

Arkansas is one of five states that noted travel writer
Gary McKechnie added to his “Great American Motorcycle Tours.”
McKechnie’s thoughts on his ride on Highway 7
through the Natural State speak well of what you
can expect on your trip. “A ride reaching across
mountains and hills from the thermal baths of central Arkansas north to one of the nation’s most impressive resort towns. Nearly 100 percent undiluted
natural beauty along a scenic highway reveals a new
perspective on a misunderstood state.”

Eureka Springs
Located in Northwest Arkansas,
Eureka Springs has always been
a tourist destination. Long before
it was a town, the Native American’s used the springs and land
as a healing and gathering place
for their tribes. Those stories traveled and soon the
town was flooded with folks wanting to be healed
by the springs!
Today those springs offer a beautiful backdrop to the
towns winding lanes. Shopping is fun in this town
that hosts independent shops offering wonderful
gifts, home items, and art both locally made and
internationally known. Dining is world class with
something for everyone to delight in. From catfish to
filet mignon there is an experience waiting for your
next meal. Dancing the night away at a number of
venues and take your sweetie for a spin, or stop in
and listen to some original folk music being sung on
a balcony or in a cafe. Being bored isn’t an option in
Eureka Springs!
There is also plenty of time to relax and renew! The
town that was built on healing has a lot to offer
guests who are looking for rest and relaxation. Treat
yourself to a relaxing day at the spa after a long ride
through the Ozarks.
Hiking, fishing, canoeing, and mountain biking are
available throughout the area. Hosting two lakes,
Beaver Lake and Tablerock Lake, the area is ready
for you to catch the next big one! Meandering on
the river is another way to explore the Ozarks. The
White River and the Kings River both offer exciting
options for the river rat! Depending on the season
you might just spot an eagle or two! If mountain
biking is more your speed you can ride right through
town to Lake Leatherwood
and explore the trails built
just for you.
Anyway you look at it,
Eureka Springs offers so
much to do you’ll be
planning your next vacation back before you even leave!
