YOUNG AT HEART
At the beginning of July, North Florida Regional Medical Center (NFRMC) got a visit from a very special young man –
Todd Miller. Back in March, Todd, who was only six years old at the time, went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to our
ER, where physicians and staff never gave up on him. Because of them, Todd survived. During Todd’s recent visit, some of
those who helped to save his life were able to stop by to say hello, including Dr. Amit Rawal and Dr. Frank Foster along with
Ashley Rhoden, Callie Smith, Paula Davis, Lenora Sheppard, Katrina Akins, Robert Kaminsky and Tanvi Patel. During the
celebration, Todd could not stop smiling and continued to laugh – probably because he received a lot of Teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtle presents and a very cool Ninja Turtle cake. Seeing him inspires all of us. Thank you to everyone who helped
save Todd’s life and for coming back to celebrate with him.
