MINISTRY NEWS
TODAY november 9
SERMON: When Joshua led the tribes across the Jordan to lay hold of the Promised
Land, a definite and distinctive pattern was set for God’s people to follow. The New
Testament summary of the pattern is put in one sentence by the Apostle Paul. “I press
on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 3:12. Our goal in the time remaining will be to study that pattern carefully,
learn it well, and live it deliberately. Pastor Larry will be preaching today’s sermon.

group This Hope will be giving a
concert here at Wasilla Bible Church on
Monday, November 10th, at 7pm. They
are releasing a new CD entitled Face
the Fight. You can hear music and learn
more about This Hope on their website:

love offering will be taken.
extended ministries
R
wanda Trip: Thank you for praying. Five out of seven
of our people flew out last night and are currently in route
to Rwanda to work with our Extended Ministries partners Tim
and Jessica Brubaker. Please continue to pray for their travel.
Two others will depart tomorrow. The team is going to work
on the building that will house the CLIR (Christian Leadership
Institute of Rwanda) and the library therein. The team hopes to send updates with
pictures upon their arrival. Please watch this Spotlight in the next few weeks to track and
pray for the work being done in Rwanda. Pray also that our church can be of support to
Tim, Jessica, Thomas, Martin, Cecilia, & Eliza with this visit.
