EVENTS EVENTS Since opening in 1927, The Hollywood Roosevelt has become synonymous with Hollywood history itself: the birthplace of the Academy Awards, the once-home to Marilyn Monroe, the location where Bill “Bojangles” Robinson taught a young Shirley Temple how to dance, and the setting for Prince’s intimate five-show residency in the late ’00s. Named after the 26th President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt, the hotel is as legendary as the many stars who’ve crossed its threshold, with style and service that embodies a modern revival of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Located in the heart of Los Angeles on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and steps from the Dolby and TCL Chinese Theatres, its 12-story Tower and poolside Cabanas feature 300 guest rooms and 63 suites, eight restaurant and bars, and a million-dollar underwater mural by famed artist David Hockney.
