Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament-New Year Adoration 2015
On January 2 2015 we started the New Year with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. We thank you for your presence in the Church and for signing the Attendance Sheet, indicating that you would be present or were expecting to
attend.
t is important that we do not feel alone during the hours of the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Silence is expected, while we are at Adoration. The Blessed Sacrament is never to be left alone in the Church.
Our next date for First Friday, is February 6, 2015 following the 9:00 A.M. Mass, unless otherwise announced of a different time. Please be sure to sign your Name on the Sheet in the back of the Church and the hour that you have chosen to be there. We had a good number of people attend this month. Please let us continue for the rest of the year.

Il 2 Gennaio 2015 abbiamo iniziato il nuovo anno con l'Adorazione del Santissimo Sacramento. Vi ringraziamo per la
vostra presenza nella Chiesa e per la firma del foglio di presenza che si sarebbe in presenza o si aspettavano a partecipare. E 'importante che non ci sentiamo soli durante le ore della esposizione del Sacramento in Ostensorio sull'altare. Il silenzio è previsto, mentre siamo a Adorazione. Il nostro prossimo appuntamento per il primo Venerdì, è 6 Febbraio 2015 a seguito della 09:00 Messa, se non diversamente annunciato di un tempo diverso. Si prega di essere sicuri

IV DOMINGO DEL TIEMPO ORDINARIO
Jesús inaugura su misión pública en la sinagoga de Cafarnaún ,
donde el pueblo Judío se reune cada sábado para su asamblea religiosa, y lo hace con palabras sabias y obras prodigiosas. Enseña
a la gente sencilla y cura a un poseido por un espiritu inmundo . Todos pueden ver y oir que está enseñando y demostrando una doctrina nueva , clara evidencia de la fuerza del Espiritu Santo.
La reacción de la gente es favorable , pues reconocer en él la autoridad de un profeta; pero ello naturalmente significa el desprestigio de la enseñanza de los
rabinos de esa epoca.
El Papa Francisco menciona el hecho de que Jesús siempre hace todo y actua con mucha
autoridad , misma que era usada en el Antiguo Testamento pero solo por Dios . La pregunta
que rodea el Nuevo Testamento en en Evangelio de San Marcos es : Quien es ese ? ,
pregunta que tiene que ver con la identidad de Jesús , pero la autoridad que posee Jesús
para hacer las cosas que hace no tiene la intención de ejercer poder sobre los demás, sino
de servir , para darles la libertad y la plenitude de vida.
Jesus siempre sorprende con su lenguaje y sus gestos. La gente se admira de sus enseñanzas , que es repetitive sino que siempre hay una novedad en su palabra , una novedad
que advierte al escucharlo hablar de Dios y de la ley y los profetas. Cristo libera a un hombre poseido por un espiritu. Jesús seguira interpelando a los hombres por siempre , para
que se pronuncie por él o contra él . Y todos tenemos que decidirnos , Te decides tu por
Cristo ?

Rosary Society
The Rosarians welcome all women of the Parish. The Society
is dedicated to the Blessed Mother, the growth of the love of
God through Mary. We honor the Blessed Mother by the constant and reverent praying of the rosary in our daily life.
We are involved in all Parish activities, liturgical and social –
and keep informed about civic community activities.
Spiritual activities include an Annual Retreat, Annual Communion Breakfast and Baby Shower for Unwed Mothers. The Society raises money to help our Church continue outreach efforts.
The fundraisers include: Christmas Fair, Basket Night, Chinese
Auction.
We attend the 10:00am Mass on the Third Sunday of the
month (except July & August) followed by a meeting & light

The present Holy Name Society members dedicate themselves to corporal works in helping our Parish Organizations
and School, with various fundraising. The Holy Name meets
every second Sunday of each month (after the 10 a.m.
Mass), except for July & August.

Gamblers Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each
other that they may solve their common problem and help

Overeaters Anonymous members talk about their struggles with compulsive eating. Meeting every Wednesday
night at 8:00p.m. in the Nazareth Institute.
Is your life effected by someone who is drinking? To help
them, you must first help yourself. Al-Anon helps families
and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living
with the problem drinking of a relative or friend.

In order for designated Parish Ministries & Organizations to reserve one of our rooms at St. A’s, we require you to fill out our Parish Calendar & Room Request Form. The form is available in the rectory or can be downloaded from our website. We even
have an E-form so you complete this form without writing. Just e-mail it back to us, or print it out and drop it off. All Requests must
be made using our form. E-mail completed form to AnnaMarie Scuteri at [email protected]. This is the ONLY way to
reserve a room here at St. A's. The group listed on the parish calendar is the group that has the right to use that space. If you are
not a designated ministry of our parish, permission must be granted from our Pastor, Msgr. Cassato, a rental fee is paid,
and a lease agreement completed in order to use space.
Sunday Bulletin Deadlines The Sunday Bulletin must be e-mailed to our printer by 10a.m. Monday. All announcements must
be submitted in WRITTEN form only (handwritten, typed, computer, fax, e-mailed, etc) by 3p.m. Friday. Announcements received after the deadline will be published the following week. No one on the parish staff will assume the responsibility for your
ministry’s articles. Include your bulletin articles in your advance planning for your event. All Flyers need to be approved by a staff
member and submitted by Email only to [email protected].
Our Printer Requires all Black or Grayscale Print, Clip Art & Graphics. If you submit color graphics, the printer will NOT print
your flyer. Please email announcements to [email protected] no other email addresses!
