installation
1. With your computer powered on, plug
the Wireless 150N USB Mini Adapter
into an available USB 2.0 port.
NOTE: Never use force to insert the
adapter. If it doesn’t slide into the port
easily, it may simply be upside down.
2. The first of the InstallShield Wizard screens — the Welcome to the Found New
Hardware Wizard screen — will display automatically. Click “Cancel” to
continue with the software installation.
4
3. Insert the included driver CD into the CD/DVD-ROM drive of your computer
and run the Setup.exe program. When the Choose Setup Language screen displays, highlight your selection and click “Next.”
4. When the first of the Install Driver and Utility screens displays, click “Next.”
As with any InstallShield Wizard process, you can click “Back” to change
settings or selections on previous screens; “Cancel” to exit the wizard and
start over.
5. When the subsequent Install screen displays, click “Install” to continue.
6. When the Setup Status screen displays, you’ll see a status bar indicating the
progress of the installation procedure. Allow the process to be completed.
7. When the InstallShield Wizard Complete screen displays, click “Finish.” At
this point, you can proceed to the configuration of the adapter.
5
configuration
1.Once the installation has been
completed, the configuration
utility will automatically display
on your computer desktop.
Also, the utility icon will appear
in the lower-right corner in your
systems tray, allowing you to
open the utility by right-clicking
the icon.
2. The configuration utility will automatically scan for wireless access points and
access to any unencrypted wireless access point. To connect to another
access point, select the access point and double-click it. If the particular
wireless access point you want to connect to doesn’t show on this screen,
click “Refresh” and the adapter will re-scan for devices.

3. If the wireless access point uses encryption, you need to input either a WEP
key or a WPA preshared key. Obtain it from the owner of the wireless access
point you want to connect to, enter the correct key in the “Network key” fields
highlighted below, then click “OK.” NOTE: If the value you enter isn’t an exact
match to the correct key, you won’t be able to connect to that wireless AP.
4. If the wireless AP is successfully connected, you’ll see an icon representing
an antenna receiving a signal in front of the name of wireless device.
