DIVE MASTER COURSE PROGRAM
DM Course Introduction
The PADI Dive Master programme is your first step in the quest to
become a PADI Professional. Your adventure into the professional
levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, in this
program you expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to
a professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your
leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and
assist instructors with student divers. PADI Divemaster is the
prerequisite certification for both the PADI Assistant Instructor
and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications.
During the PADI Divemaster program, you learn dive leadership skills
through both classroom and independent study. You complete water
skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch
your ability to organize and solve problems as well as help others
improve their scuba. You put this knowledge into action through a
structured internship or series of practical training exercises.
As you progress through your Divemaster course, you’ll expand your
diving knowledge, hone you skills and increase your confidence. Then,
as a PADI Divemaster, you’ll use these attributes to lead, mentor and
motivate other divers and experience the joy of seeing them
transformed by the majesty of the the acquatic realm.

This includes all jobs a certified Divemaster has to perform in a professional company, all positions even helping in the kitchen on board.

Dive Master Training Facility:
All classroom and pool sessions will be held in Khao Lak Scuba
Adventures own Padi 5 Star IDC Training Academy in Khao Lak.
The 100 sqm IDC and Dive Master classroom contains modern
teaching equipment i.e projector, microphone & sound system
for presentations, flatscreens, air-conditioning, wifi, and many
other facilities and comforts. There are also two training pools
for the pool sessions and a restaurant for lunch located in the
same building for your convenience.

Recommended Accomodation
During your Course we recommend you to stay in either a single
or share room in our IDC Accomodation called “ Mohin Tara”The
Hotel is a 3 Star Hotel with full room service in air conditioned
comfortable Rooms. The Hotel is directly beside the Training
Academy and so just a few steps every morning to your
classroom or to the pool. The price per person and night in a
single room is 1300 THB and in a share room 900 THB per
Person. Of course Khao Lak has much more and cheaper
opportunities for you.
Dive Master Course Prerequisites
To qualify to enter the Dive Master Program, you must:

Be A PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
Be A PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
Be An Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (or qualifying first aid and CPR training from another
organization) course completion within the past 24 months.
Have at least 40 dives to begin the course and 60 for certification
Be fit for diving and submit a Medical Statement (PDF)signed by a physician within the last 12 months.
18 years old
Have your Own full valid Dive Insurance.
Have your Own full set of Dive equipment (Mask, Fins, Snorkel, BCD, Wetsuit, Signaling Device, Cutting Tool, Compass, Timing
Device, Audible Device )
(Basic Scuba Equipment can be rented by us for 5000 THB 4 Week Schedule and 10000 THB 3 Month Schedule, anyway we recommend
you to purchase your own Diveequipment and therefor we offer our Staff and Candidates a very good Staff Deal in the Retail Center)
