Are you ready to rock? I sure hope so! Once a month
we will be inviting our Jr. and Sr. Youth to join us for
worship in the sanctuary. Come on out
August 12 @ 7:00 P.M. to check it out!
If you are interested in joining our Youth Roxx band,
helping supervise, or providing snack for the evening

We would love to have you be a part of this exciting
ministry!
Today is pizza box Sunday! All
children are invited to grab a
pizza box after the kidz Korner
and stay in the service with their families. This is a great
time to worship together as a family.
We will be doing a self-serve Nursery for the summer.
This is available for all children ages 0-2. You are more
than welcome to use this room (located directly across
from the Sanctuary).
The Lord’s Food Bank Update
July was a busy month for us: 448 hampers were given out,
and 9 new clients were helped. Changes have been made: we
have redone our dining room floor, and introduced a new
number system for handing out hampers. There was great
involvement from the churches of Rocky. I especially thank
Sonrise Camps for their crew who accomplished so much,
and Kidztown for their awesome ministry! Thank you to all
who have continued to give generously during this difficult
economic time. We are still looking for more volunteers, especially in the kitchen. There are opportunities to serve in
various ways (working in the kitchen, sorting food, building
hampers, music ministry, etc). If you would like to be involved, you can reach me at the Food Bank (403-845-7546)
from Monday to Thursday - 8:30-4:30. For more frequent
updates, follow The Lord’s Food Bank on Facebook. With
