Welcome to the 7th edition of Borefts Beer Festival! Bigger and better than ever before! Bigger? Yes, there is a lot of extra space inside the blue and white building. Most brewers can be found there. But also the area in and around the historic mill is part of the festival again. That’s where the USA Beer Bar will surprise you and nice food is served when you’re hungry. And of course the beer shop with loads of (festival) beers you’ll need. Really bigger? Yes, over 200 different beers this time. Many of them brewed for the festival or released for the first time at this festival. Better? Yes, we have a selection of the best breweries worldwide representing 10 countries. Sweden being the biggest supplier this time but quickly followed by England and the Netherlands. We sincerely hope you’ll have just as much fun at the festival as we did setting it up for you. Many thanks go out to everyone working at Brouwerij de Molen and our dedicated volonteer team with their ‘chef d'équipe’ Joris for helping us and making this festival possible. Beer shop and USA Beer Bar The beer shop of Brouwcafé de Molen in the historic mill is open for business from 11:00h until 21:00h. Beers from attending breweries are available in the store, along with many many others, including De Molen. Please keep in mind that only a limited amount of people can squeeze into the shop at once. The mill will also be the location of the new and amazing USA Beer Bar, opened both days till 21:45 for tastings of several USA beers to pay for with festival tokens. Check the back of this program. Food Pay a visit to one of the food trucks for all your needs to snack. A wide variety of dishes, sausage and cheeses are on offer. At Brouwcafé de Molen you can also get good meals together with a beer from the USA Beer Bar and a place to sit. 3 Water During the festival we advise you to drink plenty of water. Not only will you prevent dehydration, but it also cleanses your palate. Taps with brewing water are available troughout the festival area. Coffee, soft drinks and wine Not a beer fan? Stuck in the designated driver’s seat? A selection of coffee (foodtruck), soft drinks (merchandise shop) and wine (wine bar) is available this year. After‐get‐togethers @ Brouwcafé de Molen Friday and Saturday night from 22:00h until 00:00h the bar in the historic mill will be open for those who want to stick around just a little longer. There's WIFI available in the bar. At this time drinks available in regular glasses and payed for by pin or cash. Smoking Please do not smoke inside the buildings or underneath the tents. Keep in mind the non‐smokers among us. Enjoy your sigarette outside the tents and buildings. Trains Bodegraven has trains in the direction of Utrecht and Leiden, at :15 past the hour and :45 past the hour. Continued half‐hourly service until the last trains at 00:45. Historic mill de Arkduif On both festival days there will be opportunities to take a look inside the actual working windmill. Miller Peter will be very happy to show you around and answer questions. 4 5 Brouwcafé de Molen aka USA Beer Bar
In and around the historic mill you wil find the beer shop, food and like you guessed, beer. During Borefts hours (12:00h – 22:00h) Brouwcafé de Molen will have several American Beers on tap. Bring your tasting glass and tokens. After that, up until 0:00h, there is a switch to Molen beers and pin/cash. And ofcourse in regular glasses. Check the back of this program! (Eet‐ en Bierlokaal de Molen ended their business on September 1st. Brouwcafé de Molen wil open officially after a rebuild and redecoration in November.
