Moods of Norway made its New York City
debut at 75 Greene Street. H&M has
taken space at Time Warner Center, and
will open its largest store in the world at 589 Fifth Avenue. Ted
Baker launched his flagship at 595 Fifth Avenue. Christian Siriano
debuted his boutique at 252 Elizabeth Street. Canada’s Aritzia’s
largest location in the world will be at 600 Fifth Avenue. La Perla
has taken 3,200 square feet at 434 West Broadway. Patagonia
is making a major statement in the city with a two-level space at
414 West 14th Street and a unit at 313 Bowery. Owen’s emerging designers and Hanro of Switzerland share 809 Washington
Street. Oscar de la Renta will double the size of its flagship at 772
Madison Avenue. Yigal Azrouël relocated from the Meatpacking
District to 1011 Madison Avenue. Belgian sportswear maker Sarah Pacini opened its first U.S. boutique at 350 Bleecker Street.
Prouenza Schouler opened at 822 Madison Avenue. Nordstrom
will open its New York City flagship at 225 West 57th Street in
2018. Nordstrom Rack also plans a unit at 1095 Avenue of the
Americas. Superdry’s fourth Manhattan unit is coming to 716 Lexington Avenue. Zadig & Voltaire’s latest shop is inside the Mark
Hotel at 25 East 77th Street. Caramel Baby & Child will have its
first U.S. store at 1244 Madison. Designer Kathy Kemp has relocated Anna to 330 East 11th Street. MM6 from Maison Martin
Margiela has debuted at 363 Bleecker Street.
The Power of the Purse
Longchamp has opened its Rockefeller Center shop at 610
Fifth Avenue. Anya Hindmarch is relocating to 795 Madison
Avenue. Ghurka’s second boutique is at 65 Prince Street.
Spectacularly Shod
Camper House of Shoes bowed at 110 Prince Street. Superga’s first U.S. store has come at 78 Crosby Street. Saks Fifth
Avenue (611 Fifth Avenue) expanded its shoe department by
10,000 square feet. Spanish ballet flat brand Pretty Ballerinas
is located at 26 East 67th Street. Vince Camuto has come to 30
West 34th Street. Wait for 152 West 34th Street to become
a giant, multi-level Crocs. Schutz opened its first freestanding
store outside Brazil at 665 Madison Avenue. Brian Atwood
will launch his global expansion at 665 Madison Avenue. Kate
Spade takes an uptown space at 789 Madison Avenue.

Faberge’s jewel of a store debuted at 684 Madison Avenue.
Phoenix Roze’s jewels shimmer at 994 Madison Avenue. Karen
Karch is relocating from Mulberry Street to 38 Gramercy Park

Christian Louboutin’s men’s boutique has arrived at 808-10
Washington Street. Ernest Alexander has taken a permanent
space at 98 Thompson Street. Lanvin will debut a men’s-only
shop at 815 Madison Avenue. Onassis opened a second New
York City store at 61 West 49th Street. Canali will debut a flagship at 625 Madison. MenScience offers the gents skincare in a
mancave setting at 329 Lafayette Street.
Bounteous Beauty
L’Occitane en Provence will replace The Body Shop at 2151
Broadway. Bobbi Brown’s pop-up at Grand Central Terminal
will be open until January. The New York Shaving Company recreates the classic barbershop at 146 East 49th Street. The Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa bowed at the Chatwal Hotel (130
West 44th Street). Sephora unveiled its renovation of its Union
Square outpost.
Home on the Range
Antiques shop Paula Rubenstein will relocate to 21 Bond Street.
Christian Liaigre’s showroom at 34 E. 61st Street offers amazing
furnishings. Look for DwellStudio at 77 Wooster Street. Mackenzie-Childs moved uptown to 14 West 57th Street. Sam Ash is relocating one of its musical instrument shops to 333 West 34th Street.
Accessories A-Go-Go
Michael Kors Lifestyle highlights accessories at 667 Madison
Avenue. Warby Parker’s first stand-alone store will grace 121
Greene Street. Fendi took the former Montblanc space at 598
Madison Avenue. Joy Gryson is coming to 106 Franklin Street.
Block Headwear relocated to 89 East Houston Street.
Sweet Treats
Maison Ladurée will open its second sweet shop in the city at
398 West Broadway. IT’SUGAR opened at 1880 Broadway.

Italian fashion, jewelry and home furnishings importer Mariana
Antinori will make her New York City debut at 1242. Agata &
Valentina’s upscale groceries are at 64 University Place. Rent
the Runway rents designer apparel at its new showroom (by
