fall 2016 @ spc
Dear SPC family,
Fall always seems to come with a new lease on life. New school years, new sports seasons (go Hawks!),
new chances for positive change. At SPC, we come into fall with the same attitude—thankful for what
is behind us and excited for what is ahead. “I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work
among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).
With that in mind, I’d invite you to take a few minutes and devour this fall ministry guide. It is filled with
places where you and your family can experience the new and adventurous life of faith in Jesus Christ that
God has prepared for us. So get ready! Try something new! Go for broke! We have so much to celebrate
and so much to do as God’s people together—Won’t you join us?
With joy,
Dr. Jeff Lincicome
Senior Pastor

ID: Discovering Our True Identity As The Church
Drivers Licenses, Passports, Insurance Cards, Starbucks Rewards, Employee Badges--our lives
are filled with personalized IDs that tell the world who we are and what we belong to. As the
community of SPC, we have an ID, too--to be a Christ Centered, Mission Minded Family. This
identity compels us forward in discipleship, service and fellowship. In this series, we will take a
look at SPC’s ID, and seek to understand better who we are as a church. Join us!
