Mapping denim: all the pieces come together
The Bangladesh Denim Expo is a non-profit enterprise
and operates from a platform of responsibility. The
show’s aim is not only to grow the denim trade in
Bangladesh, but also to encourage better business
practise: to raise the living standards of the people
in this country. Any surplus funds from the show will
be donated to a seed fund for a Denim University
in Bangladesh. Already the organisers are building
links with educators and experts around the world to
make these seeds bear fruit. Ultimately this benefits
everyone who trades in this country. We hope you will
support this endeavour and spread the word.
