Mahymobiles
On the road to Mahymobiles !
Each vehicle is linked to a fascinating story or an endearing anecdote,
and everything exudes passion. Another unique feature is the breathtaking view from a footbridge over the collection’s storage area: hidden
treasures that every visitor will want to see. The 500 items in the storage
area allow the displays to be regularly changed.
Seven one-day packages are available: visit Mahymobiles and another
tourist attraction in the Tournai area (the Châteaux at Beloeil or Attre, the
Notre-Dame à la Rose mediaeval hospital, the Strépy-Thieu boat lift, the
Dubuisson Brewery, the Aubechies archeological centre and the International Museum at the Chièvres air-force base).

Only 3 hours’ drive from Calais and 1 hour’s drive
from Brussels, and not far from the historical centre
of Luxembourg City, Belgian Luxembourg is a land of
forests, rivers and deep valleys, crossed by numerous
waymarked footpaths. A land of history with the Battle of the Ardennes but also, with mediaeval castles
and ancient hamlets. A land of fairy tales and legends
of knights, that has nothing in common with the lowlands North of Brussels.

La Roche-en-Ardenne, pearl of the Ardennes
Each day the region is enriched with new opportunities, including classic
activities, such as walking on high rope-bridges between trees, paintballing, kayaking and mountain-biking. But the Ardennes also have other
treasures to offer. The romantic ruins of the medieval castle overlooking
La Roche bear witness to its long history, and now also serves as the
setting for many interesting activities. For example, you can put yourself
in the armoured shoes of a medieval knight and explore the castle’s secrets. In the surrounding countryside are many opportunities to enjoy the
simple pleasures of life: revitalising guided walks, professionally-tutored
tastings of wine, beer or whisky, or a visit to the pottery museum or the
forest wildlife park.
La Roche-en-Ardenne is a real jewel with quality accommodation for
groups, such as the Floreal Club, famous gastronomic restaurants and a
team of tourism professionals ready to develop events programmes tailored to your requirements.

Discovery - Magic - Emotion
Half an hour from the centre of
Brussels, the Hergé Museum is just
waiting to be discovered. A bold
and strikingly beautiful piece of
architecture, the Hergé Museum
houses a rich, colourful and seemingly boundless artistic heritage,
a testimony to one of the greatest
strip-cartoon artists and authors of
all time.
You must have already heard of
Hergé, the creator of Tintin and
Snowy; now you can find out all
about the father of European stripcartoons, a talented artist in many
fields. Hergé the illustrator, graphic
designer, painter and storyteller:
there is so much to discover about
the man who created an entire
genre of entertainment.
