General Description
Muskoka Soul is an extraordinary four season private escape for group vacations,
offsite meetings & social events. Perched above Lake Muskoka and only 90 minutes
from the GTA, guests feel a million miles away from the city. With luxurious interiors and a bounty of activities in every season, guests always have a reason to plan a

General Booking Process
Upon confirmation of rental period a 1/3 deposit is required to hold dates requested and the guest group completes a rental contract. Four weeks prior to rental
the security deposit and final rental payment is required. Generally, security deposits are held on a credit card, through a hold on funds. Once a check of the property
has been completed funds are released.

Waterfront & Swimming
The waterfront is approximately 90 feet, natural shoreline. Access to the water from
a cedar staircase, down to a 48 foot cantilever dock and a 30 foot side dock, nestled in Canadian Shield. Shallow swimming at the side dock and clear deep water
swimming from the main dock. Main dock suitable for boating & float plane.
Light (canoe, kayak) and power watercraft are readily available in the area.

Entry
The guest that signs the booking agreement will be provided with security system and door
access codes. To support security, these codes change for the next booking period.
Arrival Time
Mid & High Season:
Check-in: after 4:00 PM
Check-out: before 11:00 AM
Low Season (except Friday departures)
Check-in: after 2:00
Check-out: before 2:00 PM
In the mid/high season periods we will make every effort to have your accommodations
ready at 4:00 but check-in delays may occur during peak booking periods. We appreciate
your patience and ask that you have alternate plans available between 4:00 – 4:30 PM.
Advance Deposit/Payments/Security Deposit
Security deposits are held for damage or theft. After a guest stay, a full review of the property will occur. Housekeeping staff will also review the house inventory, including kitchen
and bathroom items. If any issues arise, such as breakage, damage, theft, the guest will be
notified within 2-3 days of their stay. Funds will be deducted from security deposits if appropriate.
Condition of Rental
The lake house is a privately owned property. The property is well maintained. While we
apologize for any inconvenience a mechanical failure may cause, we will not be able to
offer discounts or refunds. Once we are contacted on any issue, we will make arrangements for the issue to be addressed as soon as possible.

Parking, Recreational Vehicles, Firepit & Other
The property has parking for 7+ vehicles. There is boat launch for watercrafts, such as powerboats or jet skis, available at Campbell’s landing. This property does not have the available space to accommodate recreational vehicles, boats, trailers, and jet skis, thus they are
not allowed to be parked on the property. No use of tents or building of a fire pit is permitted unless erected by the property management group. In cases of any property damages
that occur, removal of equipment left behind or wood left behind arrangements for property maintenance will be made at a fee to the guest.
Housekeeping
Our housekeeping staff works diligently to prepare the lake house in preparation for your
arrival. Daily housekeeping is not included in your booking rate but can be arranged for a
fee. Bed linens, bath towel sets are provided, for each person staying. Please ask for our
linen services list should you require additional items (pillows, towels, etc.). In the case of
excessive cleaning requirements (greater than 6 hours), post a guest stay, a deduction will
be made from the security deposit. We encourage guests to not move furnishing during
your stay. If during a guests stay, furnishing has been moved and not returned to its original
location, arrangements for property maintenance will be made at a fee.
Pets
Pet stays are subject to management approval. We love pets however in light of potential
guest respiratory illnesses, allergies and damages that have occurred from past pet guests,
we typically do not allow pets. If there is evidence of an animal; guests will be charged a
minimum of $250 for additional housekeeping and/or damages and guests will be required
to remove the pet from the premises. In some cases, with management approval and guest
agreement to pay the additional cleaning fee, we will allow small animals at the property.
This fee covers an extensive cleaning procedure we will perform to manage pet dander, a
major trigger for allergy/asthma sufferers. This procedure involves removal and cleaning all
bedding linens (bed covers to mattress covers), steam cleaning all cloth furniture and partial furnace and duct cleaning.
Smoking & Candles
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside of the lake house. Any evidence of smoking inside the
lake house will result in an immediate charge. Smoking is permitted in the open screened
in porch and outside areas. Please help us by picking up cigarette butts, ash, cigars, and
trash left in outside areas such as porches, decks, dock and landscaping. We take our
smoking policy seriously and ask that guest do as well. Failure to follow our inside smoking
policy will result in a $250 minimum charge for additional housekeeping and/or damages.
We do not encourage the use of candles based on past wax damage and fire that has occurred.

Minimum Age Requirement
The primary renter of the property must be 25 years of age. Soul Management Group Inc.
reserves the right to refuse rental to groups dependant on the ages of the overall guest
group. Confirm you are above the age of 25 by providing your birth date.
Maximum Occupancy & Septic System
The maximum sleeping occupancy is 10 persons. Any child above the age of 3 is considered an occupant. To avoid the potential of damage and over filling of bedrooms our policy stipulates no use of portable rollaway beds, and/or inflatable mattresses. Pack and play
for children are available through our concierge service or can be ported in. It is possible
with prior approval to expand maximum sleeping to 12 people. A rate of $45.00/person
will apply for numbers above 10 people. The septic system is designed for the maximum
number. If guest events/ parties exceed the maximum number, we will need to be informed
to prepare the system. Be aware septic systems are very sensitive, follow the posted notices
for correct use and to avoid any damages to the system.
Unavailability of Accommodation
In the event your accommodation becomes unavailable (i.e. significant weather damages
or other reasons beyond our control) we provide a full refund of monies paid. We will
make every attempt to notify you immediately if this situation arises and apologize for any
inconvenience.
