covenant faithfully to participate in the ministries of the church by our
prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness, that in
everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.

Ministry Celebration for Jen and Chad - Please join us for the potluck
lunch in the CLC after service as we celebrate the ministries of Rev. Jen
Swindell and Chad Cygan, who will be leaving us in September. A love
offering for each of them will be received through mid-September. We wish
them well in their future ministry.

Sunday School New Year - Children and youth are promoted today to
their next age-level class. Our 3’s/4’s meet together in E4 for the whole
hour. We use Wake County Schools’ cut-off dates for our classes as well,
so our new 3’s should have been born on or before 8/31/13. Kindergarten
through 5th graders meet for a large group time in E9, then dismiss into
their individual age level rooms for small group time and pick up.
K/1st in E12, 2nd/3rd in E9, 4th/5th in E10.
