 LA PETITE MAISON DE NICOLE
La Petite Maison de Nicole is the Parisian version of the famous address in
Nice with the same name. On the menu: tastes from Nice, Italian flavours
and generous servings. To make this possible, Jean-Yves Leurangeur, head of
the kitchens at Hôtel Fouquet’s Barrière, was inspired by big and small family
secrets from Nicole Rubi, to delight diners in Paris with delicious, authentic,
and varied recipes.

Located in Paris' 14th arrondissement, the 37 acre Parc Montsouris was created
by landscape architect Adolphe Alphand. The park is popular with joggers and
walkers and is filled with ambling wooden footpaths, small waterfalls and
brooks, and hidden nooks where shaded flowers and trees render a sense of
enchantment and repose. The enormous man-made lake is a home to ducks,
geese, swans, and other birds - but you are asked not to feed them.
 4 SEPT-31 DEC. AUTUMN FESTIVAL IN PARIS.
A living, breathing festival! Dance, opera, visual arts, literature, cinema, music
and theatre - the Festival d'automne or Autumn Festival has it all. First
organised in 1972 by Michel Guy, the Paris Autumn Festival is dedicated to
the contemporary arts. Stretched out over three months, the festival's mission
statement has four main missions: bring new acts and culture to France,
helping emerging artists achieve recognition, trying experimental art forms
and projects and getting to know cultures from outside french borders.

 19 SEPT-3 NOV. OPERA: THE BARBER OF SEVILLE.
CHECK-IN. Opens 2 hours before & closes 45 mins before departure.
With this opera, Rossini achieved a level of perfection in the genre - through
a combination of comedy, invention, and a touch of madness - that few
composers after him would ever reach. The composer took a comic play
by Beaumarchais, already perfect in both its form and its subversive
impertinence. Rossini added, with his music, a certain joy, an element of
poetry and vitality which rendered it an even more irresistible production.

TAXIS. Airport ranks are situated at the exits near baggage reclaim
points. A journey to the centre of Paris will cost about €50.
In 1987, the toy department of the Museum of Decorative Arts presented
an exhibition on wooden toys from all countries and all eras. In 2010, the
toy gallery invited Vilac to celebrate the 100th anniversary of wooden toys
from the Jura. These two exhibitions told the story of wooden toys across
different cultures and traditions. Initiated by the Bard Graduate Center in
New York, the exhibition will explore Swedish toy culture, with more than
350 toys and documents.
