1541 : Beginning of the Swiss watchmaking industry in Geneva.
1601 : First corporation in the world under the name of “ Watchmaker’s Guild of Geneva”.
1770 : Invention of the “watch with jolts” by Abraham-Louis Perrelet better known as “perpetual watch”.
1842 : Invention of the pendant winding watch by Adrien Philippe.
1960 : Introduction of the wristwatch and its round form on the market.
1967 : First wristwatch with quartz movement (Beta 21) in Neuchâtel.
1978 : The world’s thinnest watch, the extra flat Delirium created by manufacture ETA.
1981 : First quartz watch without battery .
2000 : Peak of the mechanical watch in Europe and the United States.

The Smoothie Watch team has entirely created the watch in order to share an
innovative design product. The “Swiss Made” appellation has been an evidence
for us and a sign of quality. We would like to introduce a “Swiss Made” high quality
product, that is trendy, within a reasonable price range.

Our collaboration with Ronda Time Center
Watchmaking company founded in 1946, Ronda Time Center is one of the world’s
leading quartz movement manufacturers. Based in Southern Switzerland, Ronda
is also well known for assembling “Swiss made” watches. The casing up of watches
can also be called T2 production. Ronda’s partnerships and collaborations include
sporty brands, fashion and luxury segments.
We choosed them to have the best swiss made quality assembling.
