Out of the exhibition experience of Cibus Tec in the Food-Tech Industry and of
Ucima (Italian Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Association) in the promotion
of the packaging sector, comes a new exhibition project for the promotion of
technologies and solutions for the food and beverage industry.

The new Cibus Tec and Food Pack

Cibus Tec is planned together with Food Industry leaders: Cibus
Tec Steering Committee has widened with new members and its
objective is identifying technological innovation trends applied to
the Food Industry, in order to provide unique opportunities for
professional and technical updating.
Cibus Tec and Food Pack, thanks to the collaboration with
UCIMA, will see an even more significant focus on issues relating
to food packaging, in which the Steering Committee will be
extensively involved.

PACK LAB by UCIMA
Permanent food packaging monitoring centre aimed
at the development of evolutionary scenarios of food
packaging.
EHEDG World Congress on Hygienic Engineering & Design 2014
From 30 to 31 October, Cibus Tec will host the EHEDG World
Congress 2014, with the objective of promoting food safety
by improving the design of food production and packaging
technologies.
Cibus Tec Industry
This initiative, successfully presented at the last edition of
the exhibition, will be further developed at Cibus Tec 2014
through the presentation of new operating lines that will
show the visitors the various stages of processing and
packaging in food productions with a high technological
content.
USA and Canada
Focus Area of Cibus Tec and Food Pack 2014 with incoming
activities aimed at developing the export to North America,
to which will be added initiatives about other countries with
high potential: Brazil, Russia, Poland, India, Asean Area, Chile,
Algeria, South Africa, Egypt, Spain, France, Turkey.

Fiere di Parma is the only Italian exhibition organiser with specific, internationally
recognized know-how in food and food-tech sectors. Its expertise has been
consolidated through the years thanks to international collaborations and to

in collaboration with Federalimentare (Italian Federation of Food Industries
Associations), Fiere di Parma organizes Cibus - International Food Exhibitionand has managed international events such as the World Processing Tomato
Congress 2002 and Summlik - IDF World Dairy Summit 2011. For the 2014 edition
of the World Processing Tomato Congress, AMITOM (Mediterranean International
Association of the Processing Tomato) choose Fiere di Parma as Organizing
Secretariat of the event that will take place from 8 to 11 June on Lake Garda, Italy.

assists Italian manufacturers of packing and packaging machinery, and includes over
100 of the most representative companies in the sector, located all over the country.
