Sawdust Mission Statement: The Sawdust Art Festival is a non-profit organization
dedicated to educating the public and promoting the art created in Laguna Beach.
The Jodi Model:
The Jodi Nathanson Scholarship program is aimed at providing individuals the
opportunity to find a second passion and to experience the sense of community
and comradery within the arts world. The ideal candidate will be looking for a way
to transition from a previous stage of life with an abundance of fond memories of

Detailed Description of Scholarship Program:
This program will consist of 2 day fused glass workshop with Sawdust artist
Maggie Spencer and 4 glassblowing classes with Sawdust artist Muffin SpencerDevlin, a total value of $1500. These two artists in specific have been chosen due
to the close relationship with Jodi and their involvement in her artistic
development
