My dear confreres,
Yet another academic year is coming to an end we
thank God for all his merciful blessings all through
the year. Most of us plan to visit our families during
this summer holidays. In the very recently released
“AMORIS LAETITIA ( THE JOY OF LOVE),
an
Apostolic Exhortation on Love in the Family, our
beloved Big Brother begins stating “The Joy of Love
experienced by families is also the joy of the Church”. Let us experience the
Joy of Love in our own families taking part in their joys and pains and struggles and concerns and be united with them
supporting and understanding them and be strengthened and renewed of our joy in the family.
'Looking to Jesus: The vocation of the family', let us make Jesus the center of our lives and of all the families. Let us
also get reconnected to our vocation which was born in the womb of our family. Our family has been the cradle of our
own vocation. Their faith and commitment to their family life is the reason of our own vocation. Let us thank god for
the gift of our family and together with our families let us renew our faith in God and love for each other.
Today the families are becoming and facing multi challenges in the society. In our ministry let us make use of this
exhortation to encourage the members of the families, Children, Youth, Couple, Parents, and Relatives to learn to
become the Joy of Love. During this year of Formation for Mission of Mercy and Compassion let us inspire the families
to be real formation houses where all are nourished with Joy of Love and Faith, and grow in deeper communion and
relationship with God and one another in the family and society. Let us all become and create Missionaries of Mercy.
Let us pray united through Mary, the great model of family life, as we dedicate the May month praying Rosary.
Wishing you all a time of relaxing. Kindly be aware of the severe summer and do take care of yourselves and others.

MISSION FORUM MEETING
Rev. Fr. Roque Alphoso a canonist and Parish Priest of

GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION OF FR. PERRY MSFS

INFORMATION
Vicar: I would be visiting our mission in Zambia and attend Trienniel Mandatory Meeting in Arusha, Tanzania
from 25th April to 25th May. During my absence Fr. Sunny will be the Vicar and for any emergency kindly
contact him.
Salesian Seminar 2016 is being organized at IIS Bangalore from 24th to 29th April on the theme Divine
Mercy: A Salesian Perspective.
Update Programme: I would recommend you dear confreres to keep updating and refreshing ourselves
attending one or the other relevant programme during the holidays.
Regional Education Seminar will be held in Delhi from 16th to 19 May . We wish the the organizing team the
very best.
Frs. Perry and Philip Thottam are on holidays. Fr. Thomas Muttam from Germany will be on holidays in June
and July. We wish him pleasant holidays
STATUS 2016 is available. Kindly make arrangement to collect from the provincialate.
AMORIS LAETITIA (The Joy of Love), Apostolic Exhortation on Love in the Family, is available at St.Paul's
book stalls. Kindly buy copies for the community and also for the families in your place of ministry. I would
recommend that sessions be animated for various groups in the families in order to enrich the family life.
Kindly make sure that a Mass is offered by every member/community for the confreres who die in the
congregation.
RETREAT
The annual retreats for 2016-17 will be held at Harmony.
1st Retreat: Oct. 31st (evening) to Nov. 5th 2016 to be animated by Fr. Jacob Parappally msfs.
2nd Retreat: Nov. 7th (Morning 10.00 am) to 11th Noon to be animated by Fr. Stephen Jayard.
Those who did not make the annual retreat for 2015-16 are kindly requested to fulfill the obligation
during summer holidays

The soul of Fr. TP Joseph msfs of Nagpur Province who passed away on 3rd April due to massive heart attack.
He was 69 years old.
The soul of Mr. Arokiaswamy, the brother of Fr. Vincent Lourduswamy who expired on 7th April due to
massive heart attack. He was 63 years old. The Provincial thanks you all for the prayers and wishes.
The good health of Fr. Balu Devanathan and Bro. Naveen who would be operated for ligament problem
