Dear Eagle Brook Country Club Member,
I would like to take this opportunity to provide you with an update on
the State of our Club
Our Transformation
Just over 14 months ago I met with the leadership of Arcis Golf and Bruce Caldwell, our Advisory Board President at the time and we discussed the recent history of the club and what
would be
necessary to re-position the club. We also discussed how we could enhance the value of
membership,
re-instill pride in the Club and create a new private club experience at Eagle Brook Country
Club.
While I was excited about the nature of the conversations taking place, I couldn’t have imagined that what would come to fruition would be of this magnitude. Today we are on the
precipice of
re-opening an entirely transformed club! The amount of work by our staff and the financial
commitment from ownership has been nothing short of phenomenal. Specifically, I would
like to highlight some of the improvements we’ve made and mention some of what we will
be rolling out:
Clubhouse:
New Members bar and restaurant “Sanctuary Kitchen and Cocktails” at Eagle Brook.
New Wine room for private events
New Fitness Center with state of the art equipment and media
Renovated Patio experience with Fire Feature and all new furniture
New Studio equipped with Spin Bikes
An assortment of classes ranging from Aerobics to Zumba
A renovated Ballroom and Pre-function space
Upgraded kitchen equipment
A refreshed Members Website
Golf Course and Pool:
All Golf course restrooms have been renovated
#18 Green erosion control corrected and beautified, matching the course design
Over 100 trees have been removed and we began the replacement process, in a joint effort with the Members Tree Fund
The Pool kitchen and bathrooms have been renovated
New pool furniture to come in Summer 2016
New Golf carts to come in Summer 2016
Additional locker room attendants to come during the golf season

Membership:
We have created a new Fitness Membership category specifically designed with
the new Fitness center in mind. We need your help to spread the word in the
community about the great changes taking place at the Club! If you know of
anyone interested in joining the Club please contact our Membership Directors,
Derek Weber and Peter Janunas, to make an introduction to the Club. The can
be reached at [email protected] or [email protected] or feel free to
stop by their offices.
Eagle Brook has made great strides since new ownership took over in late 2014,
but the Club needs your help to grow membership. Thanks to your referrals and
the improvements being made around the Club, we are beginning to see
significant interest in Membership at Eagle Brook but we still need your help.
As many of you know, we lost many of our core members to job changes and/or
retirement but we must together to continue the great work we have accomplished so far and grow our membership and the Eagle Brook CC family. To
help support the continued investment in the Club, a modest dues increase will
be reflected on your April statement.
In the meantime, we will be opening gradually to allow our staff to be trained
on our opening menu and the service levels we want to provide in our new
facilities.
Speaking of our dedicated staff, please allow me to welcome to our newest Team Members:
Trevor Nylen – Executive Chef
Claudine Fugman – Accountant
Caryn Harder – Catering Sales Assistant
Peter Janunas – Membership Sales
I will be communicating regularly over the coming weeks as we finish
construction and I can convey specific schedules and the timing of our grand
re-opening becomes more clear.
Thank you for your patience and continued support as we create the new Eagle
Brook Country Club!
Sincerely,
Eric Pratali, PGA

Good Afternoon,
It was a long winter and we are eager to get the golf season started. We have spent the winter
preparing all of our different opportunities within the golf department at Eagle Brook. We hope
that you take advantage of all the options available to you as a member of Eagle Brook.
Yesterday marked the official start of the golf season within the CDGA. The USGA recently
updated the Handicap Manual and made some changes regarding when a score should be posted.
Most notably, a player must not post his/her score if they play alone. Other exceptions are
listed in the Handicap Manual, but are not common occurrences. If you would like to educate
yourself on the handicap system that the CDGA uses, please visit the USGA’s website at
www.usga.org.
One of the best parts of being a golf professional is helping golfers improve their games. We
have 3 golf professionals on staff that are available for lessons. We all enjoy teaching all types of
golfers: men, women, junior, seniors, and beginners. All of the golf professionals have great
lesson packages available. The packages are a guideline, but if there is something that you are
looking for that is not included in the packages, please let us know. We are flexible and would
like every student to get exactly what they are looking for out of their instruction. An email will
be sent out within the next couple weeks with all of your instructors’ packages.
April also brings the opening of our on course restrooms. There is a new code to get into the
restrooms this year. Please type in 1-9-9-2 to gain entry to our on course restrooms. The new
code is on the golf cart rules which are displayed in all our golf carts if you forget the code. This
is the year that Eagle Brook opened! The golf course is undergoing restoration on holes #6 &
#18. We anticipate this project will be complete for Opening Day on Saturday, April 30th.
The Golf Shop has been busy receiving new merchandise this spring. We have new men's,
women's, and junior footwear from Adidas and FootJoy. New bags from Callaway and Titleist.
New equipment from Callaway, Titleist, and Tour Edge (Taylor Made will be arriving soon).
New ladies apparel from Cutter & Buck, Tail, and Under Armour. New men's apparel from
Adidas, Cutter & Buck, and FootJoy. We also received new umbrellas, towels, and other
accessories. All of our new merchandise is priced the same, or lower, than other retail stores. If
you do not have a new Eagle Brook shirt, please come to the golf course to show support of
your country club.

We also have an exciting junior program this year. New to the program
this year is our Summer Sports Camp in July for our juniors. This is a
drop off camp that is the week of July 12th - 15th. The camp will begin
at 9am and will conclude at 2pm. If you think your juniors will enjoy a
day of golf, swim, and tennis, then this camp is right up their alley. The
fee per junior is $225 and lunch each day will be provided. We are
limiting the amount of entries to the first 12 juniors that register. The
registration window has not been set yet, but we will notify you when it
does. In addition to the Summer Sports Camp, the Junior Golf Program
will include the PGA Junior League for juniors under the age of 13, our
Summer Junior Golf Program in June for juniors ages 6 and up, and our
Gold Bag Tag Certification Clinics in the spring.
Lastly, our tournament program is what makes this club so special. We
have exciting events for men, women, couples, and juniors. I highly
encourage all members to take advantage of our tournament program,
it is one of many reasons why being a member of Eagle Brook is
special.
I am looking forward to seeing you on the golf course soon. Please let
any of the golf staff know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Ryan Buckland, PGA
