Russ represents virtually every type and
size of business venture and entity in a
wide array of entrepreneurial endeavors.
He is outside general counsel to several
of Long Island’s largest privately owned
companies for whom he provides advice
on corporate and business matters.
Russ regularly represents clients in the
telecommunications industry ranging
from local small store operators to global
master dealers including several of the
largest master dealers, distributors, and
accessory groups in North America. His
robust real estate syndication and private
equity practice compliments his corporate
practice.
Russ serves our clients as lead counsel
on innumerable corporate transactions
including private placements, mergers,
acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate
finance, planning and strategies, service
and equipment agreements. He supports
our clients from the negotiation phase
of any transaction through to closing
and beyond. His business planning and
entity structure advice helps our clients
successfully face daily business challenges
with confidence and success.

Prior to his admission to the New York
Bar, Russ graduated from Duke University
in 1995, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree,
cum laude, in English and Drama. He
studied at the Loyola University Rome
Center for Liberal Arts and the University
College of London in 1993. In 1998, Russ
earned his Juris Doctor, with honors,
from The George Washington University
Law School. He was awarded the Corpus
Juris Secundum Award for Excellence in
Contracts.
When he is not practicing law, Russ
donates his time to the American Heart
Association and other charitable causes.
He is also very active in Long Island youth
ice hockey, baseball and soccer.
Prior to joining the Firm, Russ practiced at
one of Long Island’s largest law firms, first
as an entry-level associate and eventually
as a senior partner.
Russ’s expertise in negotiating complex
business settlements is unparalleled.

resolving matters before and during
litigation. Over the past several years,
Russ has successfully negotiated business
and personal disputes to the clients’
satisfaction in excess of $250 million. He
