Lookers Volkswagen Northallerton
This project undertaken for the renowned Lookers Group involved the
refurbishment and redesign of an extension to the existing showroom; achieving
a brighter more comfortable environment for customers.
The scope included the internal refurbishment of a new sales area and customer
lounge with new corporate lighting and feature signage. New external cladding
and associated mechanical and electrical improvements were also required.
The car parking and associated works were also included in scheme.
The project was carried out in a live environment and completed in 2012.

Lookers Volkswagen darlington
The brief in Darlington included the overhaul of the showroom with a full
refurbishment aimed at providing a contemporary, welcoming environment for
customers.
The project included the internal refurbishment of the new sales area and
customer lounge with new corporate lighting and feature signage. New
external cladding and associated mechanical and electrical improvements
were also required. Car parking and associated works also formed part of the
redevelopment.
The work was carried out in a live environment and completed in 2012.

Lookers Volkswagen blackburn
This prestigious new 17 car showroom comprised the erection of a new steel
frame extension on reinforced concrete foundations. Insulated profile steel
cladding was utilised for the external envelope incorporating powder coated
aluminium curtain walling, windows and doors.
Internally the existing showroom was fully refurbished to a very high standard in
line with the latest corporate identity. Alterations to the parts, consultation and
valet bays were also made.
The design and build scheme included full mechanical and electrical
improvement works which were carried out whilst maintaining services to the
adjacent workshop area which remained trading throughout the works.
Drawing on our experience of previous dealership refurbishment projects
ensured we achieved a high quality finish whilst delivering on time and on
budget.

Tom Willoughby proved to be an excellent partner with which to carry out our project. During a very
large refurbishment in cramped conditions they remained focused on our need to keep functioning as
a business at all times. Even through the most difficult of weather conditions they kept the site safe,
presentable and in full working order. The final product is beyond my expectations and the attention to
detail in the final phases of the project resulted in an excellent finish.

synter group volkswagen harrogate
An impressive redevelopment, this project included the construction of a first
floor mezzanine office extension and toilet facilities with the front of house area
redesigned in line with Synter Group’s new retail concept. In parallel the provision
of temporary accommodation for office and front of house staff was delivered.
The scheme was carried out over the winter months for completion and
trading early February. Working collaboratively with the client, Tom Willoughby
successfully delivered a design and build service creating a high quality car
showroom that reflected the latest corporate identity.
