PARISH MISSION - SAVE THE DATE
Come join us on January 25, 26 and 27, 2016
at Presentation Parish Church for an experience you will not forget!
Fr. Ron Hoye, a Vincentian priest, will provide an
opportunity for people of all ages, children through
seniors, to be lifted up and energized in the love of
God! This mission is designed to draw us into a
deeper relationship with Jesus. We hope to see
you, your family and friends there. Please save
these dates on your calendar.
FRIENDSHIP IN JESUS
The goal is to re-awaken our commitment as disciples of Jesus. What is
emphasized is the relational aspect of our faith and practical ways that we
can turn our lives more completely to the Lord, both individually and as
Church.
WHAT IS A MISSION
A mission is a mini retreat designed for busy people; an opportunity to
step back a bit, to slow down and simply reconnect our lives with God; a
time of spiritual refreshment and invigoration. Something we all need!
WHO IS A MISSION FOR
Mission is for everyone of all ages. The mission experience is one of story,
laughter, reflection and prayer. The message and delivery appeal to all
ages. It is designed to draw us into a deeper relationship with Jesus and—
to have a good time doing it. It is an excellent opportunity for anyone who
wants to know Jesus more and invigorate their faith. It is also a powerful
opportunity for anyone struggling in or questioning their faith or for
those who feel alienated to find healing and welcome. In other words, for
anyone who desires a spiritual boost or spark-that’s just what a parish
mission is all about!
HOW LONG IS IT
Here’s the best part—it is 50 minutes per session. We recognize that people are busy and so it won’t go on and on every evening. That is a promise.
By the time you leave home for mission every evening to the time you get
back it will be under an hour—a time frame that accommodates even the
busiest of schedules.
MINISTRIES, EVENTS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
Miqueas hubiera podido hacerlo primero. Miqueas

STEWARDSHIP REFLECTIONS
Fourth Sunday of Advent
“For behold, when the voice of your
greeting came to my ears, the babe
in my womb leaped for joy.”
(Luke 1:44)
When you hear the scripture readings each Sunday,
do you “leap for joy”? If not, don’t blame the lector
or priest; rather look inside yourself. Do you prepare for Mass each week or do you just show up and
expect to be entertained?
ADULT FORMATION
Gospel: Luke 1:39-45
Adults: When was it hardest for you to trust in
God’s plan, as Mary did? What can help you at
such times?
Children: When is it hardest for you to obey a
parent or teacher? What can help you obey with
more trust?
Evangelio: Lucas 1:39-45
