Healing Energy
Polarity Therapy
Polarity Therapy focuses on freeing constrained energy
bound by mental and physical congestion. During
Polarity Therapy, the massage therapist uses light touch
and gentle rocking, along with passive joint movement to
help restore the natural balance and flow of energy.
Reiki
During Reiki, the client remains clothed, while the practitioner lays his hands upon a particular area of the body.
This allows the practitioner’s life force to be transferred
to the patient’s problem areas. Reiki facilitates the
client’s own healing. Several U.S. hospitals employ Reiki
therapists.
Therapeutic Touch
Therapeutic Touch (TT) balances the flow of energy. The
premise of TT is that humans are more than merely the
physical plane. During a session of Therapeutic Touch,
the practitioner helps the client release and balance
their flow of energy, which facilitates the client’s own
healing response.
More Services
Ayurveda
Ayurveda focuses on balancing aspects of body, mind
and spirit in order to realize perfect health. An individualized program for restoring balance is customized for
the client, and may include dietary changes, meditation,
herbal remedies and lifestyle changes. The Ayurvedic
patient must become an active participant in the actualization of his health.
Chiropractic Services
Our Dream...
According to chiropractic medicine, the
spine is the foundation of good health.
Chiropractors detect and work to correct
subluxation of the vertebrae with
spinal manipulations.
Misalignments ultimately lead to health
issues such as back pain, neck pain, digestive disorders,
TMJ, headaches, insomnia, hyperactivity, allergies, and
more.
When our doors opened two decades ago, our goal
was to offer a diverse selection of natural health
services to the community. Today we are the largest
massage therapy center in Michigan. For hundreds
of thousands of clients we serve as a bridge between
traditional medicine and complementary healing
services. Research now shows that the techniques
we've used for decades help in countless ways:
Chiropractors apply force to locked areas, clearing them
and increasing nerve flow to areas supplied by spinal
nerves. This is done to restore spinal movement and to
increase mobility. Chiropractic medicine is a drug-free,
alternative approach to health and seeks to affect the
body’s own self-healing properties.
* relief from pain
* faster recovery time
* enhanced immune system
* improved circulation & joint flexibility
* greater energy & enhanced sleep quality
* decreased anxiety & lessened depression
* improved concentration
* reduced fatigue
For those who prefer gentler techniques, we offer the
activator method and Sacral Occipital Therapy (SOT).
Acupuncture
Acupuncture utilizes thin, hair-like
needles inserted in pivotal points along
the body’s meridians. By inserting the
needles strategically, the flow of Qi is
influenced, and energy and nourishment are received. For optimal health the flow of Qi
should be balanced and free flowing.
These result in greater peace and contentment for
your soul. We now offer over 20 services and an
eclectic variety of classes in movement and wellbeing. Thank you for being a part of our journey. We
feel honored to be a part of yours.
for your
Acupuncture relieves pain, improves circulation, and

women’s health issues including infertility, menopause

Therapeutic Massage
and Bodywork
Ashiatsu
During Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy (AOBT), the therapist uses overhead parallel bars to balance, while applying gliding strokes of the feet and pressure to points
along the spine. The combined techniques of effleurage
and compression stimulate the lymphatic system,
elongate the spine and surrounding muscles, and
provide an amazing deep tissue experience.
Clinical
Clinical massage refers to massage
with a clinical purpose. Some of the
conditions addressed by clinical
massage are old or recent muscle
injuries, chronic back and neck pain,
carpal tunnel syndrome, structural and postural distortions, and other musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
Neuromuscular Therapy
Myofascial Release
Muscle Release Technique™
Trigger Point Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
Craniosacral Therapy uses a
gentle, non-invasive technique
to help restore craniosacral
rhythm
and
improve
the
function of the central nervous
system. CST focuses on removing obstructions in the
body’s structural components: the spine, torso, sacrum,
and fascia. CST is a preventive measure but also
resolves issues of physical injury, emotional stress, pain
management, hyperactivity and depression.
Lymphatic Drainage
Rolfing Structural Integration
During a session of Lymphatic Drainage
Therapy (LDT), the therapist uses gentle
hand and finger movements to enhance
lymph flow and promote a healthy
lymphatic system. The lymphatic system helps rid the
body of toxins and seeks to restore the natural flow of
lymphatic fluid. LDT enhances tissue regeneration and
reduces edemas, inflammation, and pain.
Rolfing® is bodywork with the focus
on structural integration. Movement
patterns become dysfunctional due
to physical trauma, injury, stress and
poor posture. The Rolfing® practitioner provides connective tissue
manipulations, which lead to improved balance, greater
relaxation and renewed structural alignment. A series
of ten sessions is recommended, and advanced work is
also available.
Oncology
Oncology massage is a gentle technique for people
of all ages and stages of cancer. It improves
circulation, boosts the immune system and eases
the side effects of chemotherapy and surgery. It
can also help lessen anxiety and depression.
Oncology massage eases pain, controls nausea,
aids sleeplessness and decreases swelling, while
providing a nurturing and supportive touch.
Pregnancy
Pregnancy massage benefits during each
trimester of pregnancy. Your practitioner will
help you find a comfortable position for
relaxing and pillows are used as needed for
additional support. Pregnancy massage helps
improve circulation, relieves tension, reduces
gas, eases pain and promotes a speedier birth and
recovery.
Reflexology
The reflexes of the feet and hands act
like reflections of the body. By applying
pressure to certain areas of the hands
and feet, we can positively affect the
corresponding organs and their functions.
Reflexology has been known to benefit clients suffering
from headaches, tension, arthritis, insomnia and
hormonal imbalances.
Rehabilitation Massage
Four-Handed Massage
Ever wonder what it would be like to be really
pampered? Look no further! During this four-handed
massage, two massage therapists work on you at once.

Sports Massage
Sports massage is beneficial prior
to or following a sporting event,
and also benefits those recovering
from a sports-related injury.
Sports massage promotes circulation and healthy lymph flow. It is good for people
experiencing chronic pain, and can restore mobility to
injured muscles or tissue. Sports massage is not limited
to athletes, and is beneficial for anyone with an active
lifestyle.
Thai Massage
This massage is more energizing and rigorous than
more classic forms of massage. Thai massage is also
called Thai yoga massage, because the therapist uses
his or her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into
a series of yoga-like stretches. Thai massage is done
with all your clothes on so some recommend this for
people who want the benefit of a massage but like to
remain fully clothed. Muscle compression, joint mobilization and acupressure are also used during the treatment
Massage Enhancements
Along with any session of massage therapy, we offer
enhancements which do just that
enhance. These
therapies provide an extra boost of relief or relaxation
and have additional therapeutic value, as well. Sometimes, we deserve to indulge.
