Filigree (2015) re lects the in luence of Claude Debussy, Toru
Takemitsu andthe moremeditative streamofthe European avant‐
jazz scene. This work is not about melodic or harmonic
development, but rather about the continuous presentation of
discrete musical moments. Each moment can be understood as an
opportunity for contemplation, achieved through pitch circularity,
harmonicstasis,andformalclosure.
