His Fulfilling and Faithful Journey
Willie Randolph, Jr.
Willie Randolph, Jr., affectionately known as “Pick Three,” was born into this
life on January 11, 1941 in Wallis, Texas. He was the eldest son of thirteen blessed
to proud and loving parents, Willie Randolph, Sr. and Rebecca Randolph.
With the blessing of being raised in a Christian home, Willie dedicated his life
to Christ and was baptized at an early age in Wallis, Texas. After moving to
Houston, Texas, he united with Holman Street Baptist Church and later to
Bethelder Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Oliver
Palmer, Jr. He moved his membership and worshipped until his passing at
Daily Living Church, under the leadership of Rev. Bernard Walker.
Willie received his formal education from the local schools in Wallis, Texas
and graduated from Wallis High School. He was employed for the Houston
Police Department Public Works & Engineering Department upon moving to
Houston. He later accepted a position at the Port of Houston as a Gang Foreman.
He dedicated forty-two (42) years of service there until he retired in 2008.

Spending quality time with his family was most important to Willie. His hobbies included
gardening, raising cows, riding horses, shooting pool, fixing things (very handy...lol) and traveling as much as
possible on cruises. He had a vibrant and magnetic personality that attracted an enormous number of individuals.
He was an exceptionally giving and caring person who always put the well being of others first. He was the
patriarch of the Randolph family; our love and appreciation for his is abundant.
Willie departed this life on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. He was preceded in death by his mother and father;
and siblings, Lula Bell Williams, Panco Randolph and Seth Earl Randolph.

For I have lef t my hear t with you, so don’t you ever cr y.
The love that ’s deep within me, shall reach you from the stars,

He was loved to the utmost and will be missed tremendously by his devoted wife of fifty-two (52) years, Helen
Randolph; three (3) loving daughters, Lolita Williams, Angela Franklin and Pamela Randolph; four (4) sons,

M y Dear & Loving H usband
God...
I thank you for my husband Willie. I know in my
heart that you blessed our marriage. I thank you
for fifty-two (52) good years with my baby.
Willie, I am sad that you are gone. I will love you
until God calls me home. You were the light of my
life; the joy that filled my soul. Willie, you were
the best husband I could wish for, as well as a
good father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend.
Most of all, you were mine. We made a vow to
love, honor and cherish each other ‘til death do us
part. You kept your word and vow. God gave you
to me and now I am giving you back to God. I have
only praise for you. I will never forget you and I
will remember our good life together. I wouldn’t
change not one day of our life together. I truly
thank God for you. Wait for me, Willie, wait for
me...
