Report on Talent Mela organised by Swami Ramananda Tritha Rural Institute, Nalgonda on
30th January 2015.
Started at 10:00 a.m. on 30th January, 2015 (Saturday) and reached Swami Ramananda Tritha Rural Institute, Jalalpur
(V), Bhoodhan Pochampally, Nalgonda, at 11:30 a.m. Around 300 students and 7 companies attended during the
Talent Mela.
Inauguration was started at 12.00 p.m. Mr. Vihari Krishna, T.O., SRTRI welcomed the participants, ni-msme faculty,
firms, and SRTRI staff for the inauguration.
Dr. D. Hanmantha Rao, Associate Professor explained about the Talent Mela, the opportunities available for trained
participants and the association on SRTRI with ni-msme. He briefed about the ESDPs conducted by them in various
trades.
Dr. D. Hanmantha Rao informed that more 30 companies gave their consent and requested the SRTRI to send the
resumes to their firms and they would conduct interview and take some of the best candidates.
Mrs. V. Swapna, Faculty, ni-msme explained about ni-msme initiatives and encouraged the trainees to accept the
available opportunities, work hard and progress in their career. She also appreciated the efforts made by SRTRI for
organising the event to provide the placement opportunities for the trainees.
Dr. N. Kishore Reddy, Director of SRTRI appreciated the participants for their active participation and wished them all
the best. He also thanked the ni-msme for their continuous support and guidance for conducting ESDPs in various
trades.
Representatives of companies M/s. Sree Software Solutions; M/s. Mega Twin Cities Pvt. Electrical Workers
Association; M/s. Navata Road Transport; M/s. Adithya Enterprises briefed about their company and mentioned their
requirements, opportunities available, and working conditions and norms. The firms reported that there were many
placement opportunities in their firm and shall be selecting the best candidates from SRTRI on regular basis.
Mr. P. Ravinder Kumar, Assistant Professor proposed vote of thanks.
After the inaugural and interactions, the placement interviews took place till 5:00 p.m.
