TRAILS
Crooked Slide Trail
Extending from the area’s famous and
picturesque park to McGillivray Trail and
Lookout, this trail can be easily hiked/walked.
Length: 1.25 km
Drohan’s Trail
A challenging trail with a variety of terrain.
Take note of the ponds, creeks and rock
outcroppings along the route.
Length: 4.5 km
Gun Mountain Trail
Climb the hill to the top of the mountain to
enjoy the view from Tom’s Lookout. Varied
terrain and steep inclines.
Length: 1.7 km
McGillivray Trail & Lookout
Our most difficult trail featuring very steep
hills. Also one of our most beautiful lookouts.
An alternate, easier route to the lookout can
be found south of Long Lake Rd.
Length: 3.5 km
Red Pine Trail
An easy to moderate trail, extending to the
base of Tom’s Lookout.
Length: 4.2 km
Stop at the Visitor Information Centre,
located in the old Barry’s Bay Railway
Station for more information about the
Madawaska Valley tourist region.

Tom’s Trail
An easy stroll with moderate hills, enjoy this
trek along a scenic beaver pond.
Length: 2 km
Parking
As indicated on the map, parking can be found at
various locations, including roadside entrances.
