UA-3FX
USB Audio Capture & Playback Device with Effects
What is AF Technology?
AF Technology (Adaptive Focus Technology) is a new, advanced
means of managing audio data through two separate AD
converters. The UA-3FX has one 32 Bit DSP chip and two 24-bit AD
converters. The DSP chip acts as the brain, managing each AD
converter, sending different audio information to each, to better
replicate the original audio coming into the device. As a result, AF
Technology can maintain the delicate nuance in quiet audio
passages while maintaining the overall dynamic range of the
sound.
T
he UA-3FX represents the greatest advance in the UA-3x series of
products, and replaces the UA-3D. The UA-3FX functions with all
the advantages of the UA-3D, including both analog & digital
audio connections. The UA-3FX is powered by the USB bus, making it an
ideal portable recording device. The UA-3FX includes all of the following
advances over the UA-3D:
• Onboard DSP effects
• ASIO & WDM support for low latency use with recording programs
• Adaptive Focus Technology for increased fidelity
