Plaza and Amazonia
Event Tent
The zoo’s entry plaza has a unique setting
with beautiful fountains and scenery,
and can be tented if desired. Guests also
enjoy access to “Amazonia” and the zoo’s
Rainforest Grill – perfect for corporate
parties, holiday gatherings, fundraising
galas, conventions, wedding receptions
and more! Guests can enjoy a private
after-hours event between the hours of
6 and 10 PM.
This private setting offers a perfect
atmosphere for a variety of events including
company picnics and family reunions.
Host your next event here and your guests
are sure to be impressed with the unique
setting the zoo provides. This tented area
can seat up to 180 guests, plus additional
picnic table seating is available just outside
of the tent. The Event Tent can be rented
during regular zoo hours (9 – 4 PM).

African Overlooks
• Dozens of Rainforest animals including
the jaguar, colorful birds and primates
• Tropical trees, palms and lush foliage
• Waterfall and suspension bridge
• Research Station
Two private decks, located near the
zoo’s entry plaza, overlook a large African
Panorama exhibit and offer a spectacular
view of exotic animals and Lake Victoria.
These decks can each seat up to 150
guests and can be tented if desired.
